  • In our Forward Outside Mohawk or C-Step, we have a new foot placement (or as we call it "T") to learn.
    Our T placement is very important, especially for Figure Skaters in full length blades, to avoid the dreaded "I stepped on my own blade" scenario!
    Skaters in Hockey or ice dance blades will be less prone to this risk.

    Why is your blade shorter?

      Good question. Ice Dance blades are designed for extra close footwork. Our toe pick and heel are less likely to meet causing trips and falls during tightly crossing pathways….and in close foot positions like in a Mohawk where a long heel can sometimes connect with the other blade.
