I owned one in the early 80s.. I pushed a buck 50 (150 mph) in-between corn fields of Delaware.. she tried to actually fly after 130 mph. A gust of wind lifted the body up some but all was well.. nothing but my undies got ruined lol. ( Oh and no corn were harmed in the making of my record.). lol
Thanks. I just share our story how it unfolds. Some of it is interesting, and some of it isn't flashy. I'm just an ugly dude who likes muscles cars, and our family works on them.
Great memories for the family. My first was a 68 white charger I bought for 500 bucks back in 1978. The car was totaled in a crash, a Ford LTD wagon hit me, and was sadly parted out.
@@InvincibleExtremes I sincerely hope that things are getting better for you and your family. I have followed you online for years and the reason I do is because you have this attitude that no matter what the challenge you will find a solution. I have been inspired by that. Chris has a lot of the same qualities that you have that is why it is great you and him are friends.
Those were REAL Chargers no four door bodys. What great rides. Can't wait to see what is planned for that car. Maybe Evelyn and the kids get to go for a real ride on the road?
Paul Denick I do think that the 68 Charger is the best body style Charger (possibly any car) ever made, the new Charger is every bit a REAL Charger. I own both a 68 and a 2017 Charger Hellcat, and love them both, but the 2017 out performs the 68 in every way possible. The measurement of a muscle car isn’t the number of doors, it is the performance.
@@mopar_dude9227 My point was that Chargers were 2 door cars. Coronets were 4 door. Dodge should have named it something else. They dont make a 4 door challenger!
My wife would have hit the pedal scratched the shit out of it and said I don’t know how that happened. She does it with new minivans every time. Nice car thanks for the video.👍

Yeah these cars make insane amounts of lift over 100 mph
I had the torque bars lowered along with the shackles and she was better at high speeds. I should say I changed the shackles to lower her

Cars aren't the most important thing in the world... family is

Did not know you guys know Chris birdsong
Lol, I rent his place and sometimes do some work with him
WOW, what a sweet ride you have. I really would like to have that in my collection.
My own is the 69 sitting on the axle...
@@InvincibleExtremes It looks like you have some work ahead to make it a sweet ride, but I bet you will be making it happen.
Doing what I can yes
Really nice of Chris to let your Mrs and kids take the Charger for a spin. 😎
Yeah,
i am lookign for a charger
Everyone is. Plenty for sale if you're willing to pay what they're worth or basically build one from scratch like I am.
You could just have made a video on all Chris's cars, and I would give a thumbs up
Yeah he's a cool dude all around.
Thats living " Car Heaven "
It's cool, but family is more important than any car
Very true !
Looks like paradise - sun and Chargers!
The view ain't bad
Lol, she looks like she's afraid she's gonna scratch it!
True, we can't buy it
How many chargers do you have?
Only a couple, rest are chris's
@@InvincibleExtremes I'd love to meet chris some day :)
Baddest muscle car ever made! JMO!

Mines a 69, and somewhere else I have a 68
@@InvincibleExtremesis the 68' for sale? :) I have a 66',69',70' and a 70 RT and have no luck with and 68s
I don't have a 68 for sale but I may know one that is for 15k

Yeah that can happen too
I remembered that one the hood scoop flew off on Chris
Yup
@@InvincibleExtremes would have been cool if you could have kept that one
I have a LOT on my plate right now. And a handful of my own projects.

Where do u buy all ur chargers!? I cant seem to get one! Cool collection
I only have two... and they're junk. Chris restores a lot of them though
@@InvincibleExtremes shoot ill help u out i will take them junk rusty old cars of ur hands. Or just one
Lol, I paid thousands. Not going to give away anything
@@InvincibleExtremes i wouldt ever ethier
It never rains in southern Arizona... no wipers, Moscow style? Moscow, Idaho.
Rains here pretty often, I never thought it'd be like this
@@InvincibleExtremes Noticed no wipers on Charger is all.
Nice.
Thanks!
Your wife driving that car was the slowest and easiest that car had been driven in the time Chris owned it. LOL
Yup
Whats with the Malibu? Kinda looks out of place in that
gold mine
Family car,
What ever happened to your first gen firebird/towrig?
Ray Walters it pushed out a freeze plug and cracked the block I believe.
Didn't crack the block, but I did eventually lose oil pressure. Needs a full rebuild before we can enjoy it again
@@InvincibleExtremes I miss the Bird!
