LOVE mine - a few ‘old guy’ manual interpretation mistakes ! LOL 😆 ( hey I’m 62 years old ) the Everything Goosky FB page has been great - with some helpful advice from folks who have since build the model. Would have been nice to have Goosky have a digital manual available on their website.
It is definitely a great looking helicopter in the build was pretty smooth a few things they could update in the manual and we will see if they take the suggestions from other people. I’m glad you were able to get help that you needed to build yours. Wiring next, and then maiden flight!
I see another new brand is coming in to the North American market. Steam AK700 is not being stocked at our local heli shop. I know it’s just Tarot try to rebrand themselves, no Idea if they are any good.

Technology has definitely changed a little since then, and I’m trying to figure out what I want to put in the RS7 I plan on building later this year. I started back out with the Goosky S1 and S2, and I’m so impressed with these little helis and how solid they are. They fly like much bigger birds. About to build an RS4. I can’t wait to get to the RS7.
@@DeathPunch_80 welcome back to the hobby! Things have sure changed over the years. So depending on what radio you have will depend on what FBL you want to go with. iKon 2 is a great choice and can use any radio as it’s just the FBL and you add what ever RX you like. Vbar is incredible and such a fantastic FBL and radio system but unless you have or plan to get a Vcontorl it’s not worth it. I’ll be making a video soon on iKon/spektrum VS Vbar/Vcontorl and what’s the pros and cons on each.
@@westhobbiesrc8051 I had to buy a new Spektrum radio, so I could properly set up the 3 flight modes on the little helis. The old DX7s wasn’t cutting it anymore.

I’ve seen the AK700. Definitely a good looking Heli and price is hard to beat! I plan on getting one soon.

For now I’ll use a iKon 2 but soon I’ll change over to Vbar EVO
