Geoffrey Mark: In the Spotlight

Geoffrey Mark is a walking encyclopedia of show business history. Born in Brooklyn, NY and raised all over the country, Mr. Mark has worked as an actor, singer, stand-up comedian, radio host, and Grammy nominated writer. He writes and produces documentaries and reality shows for cable television.
Jazz singer, comedian, radio show personality, show business historian, actor, producer and best-selling author Geoffrey Mark is marking his fiftieth anniversary in show business. Mr. Mark got started professionally when he was only fifteen, co-starring in "L'il Abner" at the Colony 7 Dinner Theater outside of Washington, D.C.
Through the years, Mr. Mark has starred off-Broadway in five productions, been a huge success in night clubs all over the world singing jazz and doing stand-up comedy, written and produced dozens of programs for cable TV, is the author of the best-selling tomes "The Lucy Book", "Ethel Merman: The Biggest Star on Broadway" and two books on Ella Fitzgerald. He is also the mighty proud recipient of an Emmy Award, as well as a Grammy Award nomination.
Emmy winner and best selling author, Geoffrey Mark, is releasing his new book about the Legendary Ella Fitzgerald, with full support of the Fitzgerlad estate and foundation, is about to hit stores in February, just in time for Black History and Womens History Months (Februrary & March).
