I know that some of u are going through a hard time I feel sad when I listen to this it just brings out a lot of emotions I have left inside and that just helps me be one with myself crying is like silent screaming for me helps me relive every bottled up emotion in the silentist way possible because I don’t tell anyone about anything I just cover it with a laugh and smile and I just don’t want to feel that anymore I want to laugh and cry at the same time but Ik I can’t

Ik this may sound weird but all I do is talk to myself because I’m the only person who know my life the most
I do that too, it’s almost like a coping mechanism for me. I’ve gotten used to the fact that no-one will truly understand how I feel so I’ve learned to communicate with myself to cope. I hope that one day someone will understand the struggles of my everyday life. But that time is still yet to come.

im 21 now and at 16 i took a whole bottle of ADD capsules. (adderall) i wanted to die, in my sleep (or so i thought) so i laid in bed after taking them. i said my one and only goodbye to my only true friend at the time. just the word goodbye, i hope to see you in the afterlife, i did something to myself that is terrible but i dont regret it, is what i texted. she knew i was beyond tired of my experience that i went through. she came over with her dad and dragged me to the hospital, my screaming out crying i dont wanna go, leave me!!! i ended up going by force of her dad picking me up and taking me to his car. at the hospital i was having seizures and auditory and visual hallucinations . i ended up drinking charcoal, and ended up living .

I just want to be happy again, I hope I’m not asking for too much, but I truly want to be happy again. I want to smile so much my cheeks hurt, but I went the smile to be real.
I want life to be simple again, when I was a kid, when nothing at that moment mattered, when I wasn’t preparing for GCSE’s, or planning my entire life out. I just want to play at the park with my friends again, when the only thing going on in my head was what’re we having for dinner tonight. I want to see the colourful wonderland I once saw again, the ethereal world created through my childlike mind when I was a kid.
Right now my world is drained from all colour, just a somber black and white movie, except it never ends. It goes on and on for millenniums never stops, nothing to look forward to, goals too far away to reach, or even attempt to reach. Just dreary and uninteresting, tedious and repetitive. It’s gotten to the point where it’s hard to get out of bed, and the motivation to do anything is low, it might be laziness, but believe you me, that’s what I keep telling myself. I’m just lazy, there’s nothing wrong with me I’m just being lazy like I always am. That’s what I tell myself. But to be honest it’s probably true. I want to study to get good grades but I can’t. I physically can’t bring myself to. My brain tells me I’m not going to be able to reach my dreams anyway so what’s the point. We all die anyway so what’s the point in putting effort into something that doesn’t even matter at the end right?
I wish for all the colour to drop back into my life again, so that I can see the world in a new perspective and I can truly live and feel happy in my own secluded heaven.

I feel your pain of the darkness of life. But, there is hope in Jesus Christ. I'm not sure if you are a follower of the Lord or not. But, my friend He has added color to my life where I thought the sun would never hit again. He brought hope to my sad soul and changed me forever. And He can do the same to you. Life is hard. It hurts and it feels dark a lot. But God sent His son Jesus into the world to restore all that is broken in humanity. We must confess all of our wrongs and sins (cursing, lying, cheating, lusting, jealousy, hatred...). And surrender ourselves to Him. Call to Him, He will hear you. He sees you. You're not invisible to Him. I'm not sure what you have to face throughout your everyday life, but can I just say there is hope for you in Christ Jesus.

This may sound weird but...when I read alot of comments here I start to feel like...maybe I am not so alone as I thought. It's like I almost didn't know that there were human beings on this planet. Like everyone was just better than me in every way and that I just should hide. When you write your feelings and universe showed them to me I started to feel like...we sorta are this gigantic dysfuntional family. I just wished that we could help each other see how perfectly imperfect we are and that we don't need to change a thing. I don't know you but I felt you. If anyone is reading this, it might sound weird but I love you and I’m proud of the person you have become. Pushing through the tough times is not easy at all, and sometimes i know you just might want to give up and end it all but know that I am here for you 100%. And one day I hope you find peace and you end up beating the hard times, and you will finally be at ease. I like it it calms the beating in my chest makes me forget some of the things I wish they knew how I felt. I remember in 6th grade riding my bike down the street telling myself when I get older I’ll get help. I started writing suicide letters in 5th grade but I was to scared to go through with it. I’m a freshman now and it still hurts my heart hurt really bad and idk if it’s fixable

your comment kinda touched me as... i've been having suicide thoughts ever since 5th grade too. wrote a lot of goodbye notes. tried to attempt and did attempt. and as you, i never felt like it will ever get better. as you, i blamed myself too, and sometimes, i still do. i'm in 10th grade rn, we're probably nearly the same age.
i have been hurting... for quite a long time now. half of a decade passed but... some feelings never changed. however, feeling these doesn't mean you're weak. for a fact, only surviving means that you are very very very strong. a warrior. and eventhough, healing is sometimes just as painful as hurting...
i promise you, with a pinky promise that it will get better. i promise you, that you can do this, because you can. i promise you there will be a point, where you will be able to say : fuck pain, i'll keep on holding on, i'll keep on standing. because this is what scares your demons away. stubborn wanting to be happy.
and i know. i know that when someone is in pain for so long, it's kinda the comfort zone. you're used to it, and stepping out of this can be scary.
but listen, do it slowly. start off with doing something for yourself every day. not a big thing. it's the little things. it's always the little things. a good cup of coffee, a book, your favourite poem, going for a bike ride, listening to your favourite music.
not doing things because it's for surviving, doing things, because you deserve to be treated good. and honey don't tell me, you don't deserve good things and soft treatment. you do. every one of us does. and so do you, no matter what you hate yourself for.
and i know, how the first step is so so so fucking hard. i used to do horrible things to myself and the hardest thing ever was to stop. not to look for a blade when i feel like my thoughts are crushing me, but to breath. and cry. and scream if it was so painful emotionally. but when you're at a point, where you're not okay, the best thing you can do is trying not to put yourself down even more. and this is so so so hard, i know.
but you can do this. you can fight, and as time goes by, you fight better and better. those terrible things can't shake you, those dark demons won't take control over that beautiful mind of yours. you are amazing, in every damn way possible.
and also, about asking for help : it's not a weakness, okay? you're not any less of a warrior if you ask for help. bc it takes a lot of bravery to do so, especially, when you've been keeping things inside for so long. it's hard to open up, it's hard to talk about those things, that are weighting down your chest.
but step by step, one by one, it is possible to slowly put down these weights. one by one, you can fight these monsters. take your time. i believe in you, with all of my heart.

and we humans are fregaile creatures. we feel too much sometiemes, our souls get heavy. and this is completely okay. it's not something, to be ashamed of. your feelings are valid. they have a right to exist. and if they not good for you, if it's not okay for you, you can change them. just one step at a time. finding the little things that bring even just a little joy. if not joy, then at least you know : you did something for yourself. because you deserve love, especially from yourself.
sometimes i don't consider to follow my own advice. sometiems i fall and sometimes i fall very hard. but what is important is that we are still able to get up. and restart with the little, tiny things and as times passes by, doing more and more, as our strenght comes back.

It’s the end of a long day. So long that you can’t even recall everything that happened. You’re tired. You feel weak. Your greatest desire is to just go to sleep, but you know that can’t happen right now.
You return home to the warm smell that always has the perfect scent of welcome. With that scent, though, there was an eerie feel of silence. You knew nothing was wrong, but you also knew you were alone, so you knew it was just your imagination.
You make a tired sigh as you throw leftovers in the microwave. You really need to go grocery shopping. Oh, but do you need to remember that right now? Apparently so. The microwave beeps, disrupting your thoughts on what you needed to buy, and you grab your food and sit down on your living room couch.
Why should you turn the TV on? You’re just going to bed after. You really wanted to catch up on your favorite channel, though…. well whatever. You quickly finish your small dinner with half a cup of water, throw the dishes in the sink (eh, you’ll do them tomorrow) and head to the restroom.
After a much needed warm shower, you put on your favorite PJ’s and lay down. You make yourself comfortable in your fluffy blankets and lay there with your eyes closed ready to fall asleep…… but you can’t.
After getting angry at your racing mind, you get on your phone and start scrolling. And scrolling. And scrolling. And scrolling. And scrolling. And scrolling. And scrolling. And scrolling….
It’s been an hour. What are you doing? You put the phone down and attempt to fall asleep again. Why, it’s harder than it was before. You sit and stare straight ahead of you for a while, zoned out. Then, you turned on the small TV in your room and begin watching an episode of your favorite Netflix TV show. You watch one episode. Then two. Then three. Then four. Then five….
It’s been another hour. Still not sleeping! You’re so irritated. You get on to CZcams, trying to find a meditation video, but you find this. You decide to give it a shot.
It turns on silently, but then the soft, calming music begins to play. You suddenly feel relaxed. More relaxed than you have the entire night. You turn over on your side, breathing slowly, and letting the tune gently put you to sleep. Finally, after two and a half hours, you have fallen asleep in minutes.

“I put my dog down” due to old age I use quotation marks because I didn’t actually put him down, we called the spca to put him down. I thought we could see it happen you know for closure and all, but that’s not how it went down. It was night time and we couldn’t go because the spca is closed that time. The look on his face when my dad picked him up to put him in the van , he just got in and laid down I couldn’t watch and started crying and went inside. So the one thing I wanted I couldn’t even get. That being Closure. He probably had to sit in a cage all night wondering if I’d ever come rescue him, he was probably scared and couldn’t comfort him. And that’s what breaks me the most not being there for him the one time he needed me, when he was there for me all my life. Funny how the only thing I wanted out of putting him down was closure and I couldn’t even have that. Guess I can’t even be entitled to that. That’s life. As I’m writing this he’s probably in that cage wondering what’s about to happen. I hope he is happy in doggo heaven 💔

Lana had been standing by the side of the rail when she felt a soft touch on her shoulder. She was startled but turned to face the mystery person just to see the man she'd one day marry. Ridley. "Are you alright?" the man asked. "Yes" Lana replied, "Don't say you're okay when it's very clear you are not. Please come away from the side." Hi! I saw your comment and just wanted to leave this message because I genuinely care about you! Commenting because I remember on the verge of suicide but I’ve found the only source of help and I want you to get the help you need!! Society says "if you don't act like this or look like this you are lower”, Jesus shows "all the broken, lost, depressed, hurt, outcast, bullied, come to me and I will give you rest for your souls” People will tell you “you are fine” no, you are broken and lost and you need help from the only one that can literally do anything. Maybe you are feeling just numb and hopeless, just dead inside (spiritually dead), just a walking breathing corpse, what’s the point? There is only 1 person who can help you, and you don’t have to try to earn His love, you can come to Him in all your mess, and this person knows the worst about you yet loved you the most to die for you, His name, Jesus. He offers to make you new, you can have a new beginning, a new heart, 2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” I’ve been saved and changed and I want you to be, and yeah I admit before I was a Christian I hated God and religion, didn’t care I was stealing cars and bikes, self brutalizing, beating people up, and so on….. yet God saved me and changed me and I just am going through the comments and I want you to give up trying to do this yourself, give up running away from God and run to God, its a free gift!! ✞ The best news ever is contained in this message. God in His love despite our hatred toward Him, the same God who gave us life, breath and functioning organs, made a way for sinners to be forgiven without violating justice. He took on flesh in the person of Jesus Christ. He lived the sinless life we failed to live, and then that Son of God offered Himself on the cross as a sacrifice for sin. Jesus took the wrath of the Father dying for our sins, was buried, then rose from the dead! Turn to God today! God offers salvation as a gift, just receive it through believing what Jesus did for you. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” We are not saved from our sins because the Romans beat up Jesus and killed Him! We are saved from our sins because when He was on the tree all of your sin was imputed to Him, and all the full force of God’s wrath of His holy hatred against you and your crimes, and me, and my crimes, that as a Holy God He must pour out. He poured out on His own Son! Trust alone in Him today, and tell others about the Good news of how they can be saved through Jesus as well!! I recommend reading the Bible, the Bible is God’s word, was written by 40+ authors in a span of 1500+ years with 66 books in 3 continents remaining consistent throughout it all fulfilling 2500+ prophecies backed up with 25000+ archaeological evidence, contains more manuscripts and data recorded in history with 57000+ manuscripts, more than any other work of antiquity even with over 2.6 million pages of texts. I went to prom tonight. A girl danced with my best friends kind of ex in a way/ my boy bestfriend. She broke along with a lot of other girls. He didn’t ask the girl she asked him. Later that night my boy bestfriend asked me to dance. It hurt so much to say no. But I knew I had to because if I did I would kill so many hearts. He asked me twice and I can’t even begin to explain how much I wanted to say yes. I was the only girl he asked to dance. But even if it hurts me I will not do that to my bestfriend. I then saw my high school crush dance with a girl and that was it for me. I bursted out crying and ran to the bathroom. Then I partied it all out and now I’m crying myself to sleep. I hate life tonight.
I'm sorry I'm about 3 weeks late to respond to this comment. But, it broke my heart to read. I feel your pain in my own way, but the way you felt that prom night was unique to you. I hope you're doing okay now, but even if not so much, I want you to know that Jesus loves you so much. Not sure if you've heard that before. But God sees you and He made you so so beautiful just the way you are. He sees your hurts and pains that wreck your mind. I want you to know that Jesus came to earth to save us from the darkness that lurks in the depths of our hearts. All the dirt, shame, hatred and butter tears. Although I don't know what your life has been like, He loves you despite all you have been through in your life.
