- Ranking Every COD Game (Worst to Best) Since its launch in 2004, Call of Duty has been a massively successful franchise, releasing a new game annually. Fans' opinions on which installment is the best are as diverse as their opinions on how prolific the series is. I had originally intended to make a "Top 10 Best COD Games" video, but I've made the decision to just go right into it and rank every single Call of Duty game, taking everything into account. Just to be clear, though, I will only be taking into account games released after 2007 because that is when COD4 made its debut and created the current Call of Duty formula. Since the pre-COD4 and post-COD4 titles pursued different goals, which is entirely legitimate, comparing them would be unfair. Still, there are a good seventeen mainline COD games left for us to assess. So, since this will be a long journey, grab a snack. @@VexedSpeed I have seen THOUSANDS of people voting on polls,talking in comments and youtubers going back to MW2019. And even the polls that said which game is better,MANY more votes were for 2019 than Cold War. Bottom 3 multiplayer ever.

I tried to play it just now the multiplayer, and I cannot stand the negative ads speed, negative sprint to fire speed, and shooting move speed, and aim walking speed. The gunsmith is one of main things that ruined cods fun for me. Cold War is a good game held back by that for me. The zombies was good tho, but no story, and no classic zombies feel is what also holds it back as well. I put it over the new MW games tho.

Haven’t seen the video yet but I’m with *NeroCinema* on this. *2019* is the worst in COD history due to the *damage* it’s done. Damage we are *still* seeing to this very day.

@@CoffeeSA96 People *dare* to say 2019 is better than MW2022 but it’s not. 2022 is just 2019 without the exploits aka slide cancelling which was *not* supposed to be a thing and thus 2022 was born.
2019 is way better than vanguard or mw2 or 3

Map design I do agree with you Jimmy that it was not stellar in MW19. Heck, even the devs made a playlist for the game titled “I swear it’s not Piccadilly”. But where the game shined was the weapon balancing (at the end of the game’s life cycle, not the beginning) and the weapon variety. I think MW19 is the best COD game since Black Ops and Black Ops 2 when it comes to having a variety of iconic weapons. The M4, the Grau, the Kilo, the M13, the MP5, the Kar98, the HDR, the list goes on and on. Even in Warzone when Vanguard became the main title, everybody was shifting back to the MW guns because they were the backbone to Warzone becoming the most popular BR from 2020-22. Bash the game all you want, but there is no denying it had a sexy class of weapons.
cod ghosts campaign was amazing so was advanced warfare's campaign and exo zombies was heavily underrated should be higher in my opinion
The Spec Ops missions in MW2 2022 were actually pretty fun, but barely anyone played them
I really miss the days when bo2 was the current cod…… such an addicting game. My top 3 cods are mw2 (2009) bo1 and 2. I also really enjoyed ghosts as well. But Bo2 was the one I played the most online. I REALLY hope treyarch drops a remaster since next year, we’re actually gonna be living in 2025……that’s insane how fast time flew by

Black ops 3 honestly was my favorite cod by far. I logged so many hours on that game between zombies and multi-player both. Hell it's still up in the top spots on ps5 and Xbox both right now.

Im one of ghe weirdos that enjoyed Ghosts. It wasn't perfect granted but i really liked freedom you had with the perk system and it really let you make each class its own once you got used to it
Ultimately you can almost never go wrong with the Black Ops or OG MW series in COD.

Might be an unpopular opinion but CW arguably had the best zombies in any call of duty game, just the camo grind and gun upgrades made the game more fun and made us have something to play for, love that you ranked it top 5.
However, Black Ops 1 should be top 3 with no debate.
I'd say BO3, I didn't enjoy BO3 at all, except for the zombies, so many maps and the custom maps were just amazing. CW zombies is still good tho

I just started playing Vanguard about 2 weeks ago and it's my favorite Call of Duty since BO2. I seriously dont understand why everyone hates it. The multiplayer experience is top tier. Sure, the zombies is kinda lacking and the grind is a bit fast. It just feels like what a Call of Duty should be.

I remember that MW3 I had over 15 days worth of hours logged in that game most of those hours were spent in private infected lobbies lol loved it.
I'm pleasantly surprised Infinite Warfare was ranked so high.
Nazi Zombies being in a MW game made no sense. The 5th Call Of Duty came up with it first then Black Ops, Black Ops 2, after that it wasn't the same.
Jimmy I think you should rank every Primary weapon. It’d be a huge effort but I loved the Ranking Every Weapon Class lists you did a couple years ago
MW2019 was great until they shifted the entire focus to warzone and then the series went downhill.
Mrtlexify is 100% right warzone is the cod killer. All of its features and mechanics infected your favorite gamemodes like Campaign or Zombies, like having rarity of loot or armor plates when these modes never needed them

Gonna be honest. Ghosts is what drove me away from COD for awhile. The 2019 reboot brought me back, and I actually enjoyed the multiplayer quite a bit. Also kinda enjoyed MWII 2022, but I went into MWIII with my expectations in check (knowing all of the problems it had at launch). The Gunsmith is what got my attention, letting you play with all kinds of attachments.
Even with all that... Black Ops 2 is still my favorite COD, and I still want a remaster of this classic.
OG MW3 is my all time favorite Call of Duty. Imagine this game being remastered along with OG MW2, Bo1, and Bo2. That’s what the CoD community needs. This is what saves the franchise.
I respect you so much for putting cold war high up where it deserves to be, i feel like bo4 was ranked slightly too low and you didn't give enough reason as to why mw3 is the 2nd best cod game so you haven't convinced me to play it more😂 i haven't played mw2 a whole lot but i feel like that probably should of been higher up just based of what the majority of the community say about it

Black ops Cold War surprised me it was criticized so heavily but honestly one of my favorite of not favorite multiplayer experiences, the guns felt really good the movement was good loved not having any movement penalties while it wasn’t over the top, the maps were amazing, I felt like it was the last cod that had an actual skill gap and even though the snipers were slower than usual it still felt really good when you got the hang of it

2019 completely ruined cod for me was so excited for the game, finished work at 4am went to buy the game and gave up after 3days of playing it, have not actively played cod since. Infinity ward ruined Cod for me and sledgehammer, Treyach are truly the best at making cod games

Before I watch the video I think MWIII should be in the middle. I think as an MP experience it's the best since BO3. Lots of content,decently well balanced,good movement great maps,very good communication by the devs and A LOT of free camos.
Edit: Cold War should not be in the TOP 5. But in the BOTTOM 5. 50 million players left the franchise during Cold War and Vanguard's life cycle.
Cold War was not responsible for the player drop. If you look at the actual stats the largest slump in the COD player base happened from 2021-22, which was vanguards year.
@@BrotherMax6 partially it was because Vanguard released at near end of 2021.
