This video was a nice surprise! I’ve enjoyed your others from a couple years ago and was happy to see a new one pop up. I have this car’s American twin, a 2007 New Formula Red that I bought 5 years ago with 31k miles and is now over 50k miles as we’ve taken many fun weekend trips to the mountains and vineyards.
AP1 and AP2 refers to the engine type not the car. In the USA, AP1 and AP2 denotes the engine capacities of 2.0 litres and 2.1 litres respectively. In the UK, and except for the USA, I believe elsewhere in the world that only 2.0 litre engine S2000s were issued.
You're back! Lovely video as ever. Are you selling?! It's absolutely immaculate - you'll never find one in such nick again. Please consider holding on to it.
Oh Adrian I have had to pass it on to a super guy who will cherish it. The reason is a little monster called a Yaris GR! I come from a rallying background as you may have gathered from my you tube channel. Take care, Mark
@@Country_Car it is a pity you sell the S2000 but the GR Yaris is fun too but no convertible. Will you drive the GR Yaris as it meant to be driven ? I hope you show us the car and the drives in it.
@@Country_Car nice! I tought you ordered the new GR Yaris but you have already a GR Yaris. :) The prices for the new GR Yaris here in the Netherlands are just arrived, 70000Euros for the Performance version. That is because our nice emission taxes of 27k. Thx government! I keep my S2000 and end of last summer i bought a Lotus Elise as second fun car. Wish you a lot of drivingfun in the Yaris! The new owner of your S2000 will be very happy. :)
Wonderful car, here in the US (Texas) we got the lower redline engine (F-22) starting in 2004, for that reason I confined my search to the earlier AP1 cars before buying my 2003 back in 2017 with 12,000 miles at the time. I notice that cars in England also include what appears to be a headlight washer system? Is that a requirement in Europe? I have never seen a S2000 over here equipped with one and do not recall any mention of one in the brochure at the time or in the owners / service manuals. Strange as it may seem my 1969 Corvette actually has a similar system to clean the headlights. Keep up your good work!

Yes I have just seen your S2000, like mine with LH drive. It looks immaculate inside and out. Well done. Mark
Amazing video! Car is absolutely gorgeous.
Thank you for saying so.
ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS 💯
Thanks for the tour! A credit to you for keeping it so well. Best of luck with the Yaris....keep the videos coming🙂👍
Thank you - at least they both have Torsen LSDs!
Yours S2000, is it AP1 model?
You keep it in super good condition 👏

Beautiful condition. Wish mine was as mint. Have an early AP1 and funnily enough took it out for the first time today since Xmas.
Sounds a great car!

All s2000s in Europe have the headlight washer system from the factory
🐐
Lovely, always wanted one but unfortunately too tall for it after a test drive!
I wouldnt call this a tribute by any means. But a decent overview. And its clear you love the car.
