Signing of the season, young player of the season and Player of the season. Give him all the awards
He won’t get player of the season. Nearly always goes to a player from the winners team, probably be Foden
@@GIBBO4182 we'll see
@@Tchafsir Foden has already won the FWA award, voted for by the press, it’s usually a good indication
He will win young player for sure but I doubt he wins player of the year!
I don't really disagree
Cole Palmer has the mentality of a monster! Don’t forget, Mason Mount literally abandoned this Chelsea ship that Palmer came into to drag back into relevance
Also above a more balanced united team with youth and experience.
Stop dragging Mount, he carried that team for near 3 seasons and to a Champions league......it is not always about goals and assists
Chelsea isn't relevant. They barely made it out of midtable.
@@sibusisondlovu9516Mount never carried Chelsea.
@@emmanuelaliji3497 But he also deserves respect. Same with Courtois and Rudiger. The exception is only for Lukaku. He openly made Chelsea fans his enemies.
As a chelsea fan whose watched every chelsea match this season, i can tell you cole palmer is generational and time will prove it. People who haven't watched our games will always talk about penalties. But he has 13 from open play and 10 assists. But he contributes so much to chelsea besides goals and assists. He is elite.
Couldn't have said it better.
💙💙💙
Declan Rice
He’s not elite lol he’s done it for 8 months and these weird chelshit fans start touching themselves
If he was Brazilian and called Palmerinho, he would be a Ballon D'or contender😂
The envy from rival fans is sweet to see. Ice ice baby Cold Palmer.
With Fofana. James, Ben, and Nkuku fit and ready to go for next season. It's a scary line up!
Sadly three of those guys are injury prone , not to be a negative guy but odds are we’ll never see a true starting 3 for Chelsea , great talent there’s just someone always out there
@@titans360ifythis is what I’m worried about. A fully fit Chelsea team could probably challenge for the title but I don’t think we will ever see that. Could you imagine Fofana, colwill,James, chillwell, caicedo, lavia, nkunku, palmer, enzo, etc all fully fit playing most of the season. They would definitely be competing along with a proper number 9.
Forget Ben and James!!
Cole palmer will only get better thats for sure. When we sign a lethal striker who can finish 50-50 chances, palmer assist will grow even more. Happy days ahead for us chelsea fans 💙
The Sporting striker would be a good buy to pair
Declan Rice is phenomenal, but Cole Palmer has been insane. Definitely signing of the season.
Rice is a driving force in a team that actually produces a high level week in week out to compete at the top. Palmer isn't that type of player nor plays at the top.
@@stnbch3025arsenal was 2nd last season and 2nd again. They would be in the same position without him. Palmer took Chelsea from 12th to 6th.
@@stnbch3025I can definitely tell you haven’t been watching Chelsea this szn for you to utter this blasphemous statement about Palmer
@@mannydkingdom5395 I can tell you don't have a clue what top quality looks like. I've watched over 20 Chelsea matches and the team is pure subtop from back to front. Palmer is like the smart kid with an IQ of a 100 in a dumb class.
@@Wshilighlights Palmer wouln't get into the Arsenal side.
Jackson a 22 years old striker, his 1st season at the Epl with 14 Goals 5 Assist and could be more.
Mate the boy is really under estimated as well.
That's why they call him Cold Palmer innit
This Man City fan obviously underestimated Palmer. I remember vividly that Palmer was the best player at the U21 Euros and top scorer. He also started off the season with goals against Arsenal and Sevilla in the community shield and UEFA super cup respectively. Anyone with a discerning mind could've seen that he was about to have a breakthrough season. Maybe nobody thought he'd be this good but he had a lot of quality boiling beneath the surface even at City.
He wanted to leave. City don't force players to stay who want to go. He could've stayed but isn't as good as Foden & KDB etc. Good City players look good in below average teams.
@@drdasslerhe wanted to go on loan and come back*. they didn’t allow him to go on loan so after that he chose to leave to get more game time
@@CFCNoir No, that is a lie. He DIDN'T want to go out on loan. He wanted to leave.
Then you're Cole Palmer a liar. Cos he said it himself. Who do we believe more, you or him?@@handsolo1209
@@handsolo1209 before you reply to me with that type of energy, you need to be right. he said HIMSELF he did not want to leave, but go on loan and come back to be part of the first team. the video of him saying those words takes 2 seconds to look it up mate. minute 1:37 on “i never wanted to leave man city | cole palmer reveals why he joined chelsea”, interview by sky sports (can’t comment the link here).
24 goals and 14 assists then that dude has the nerve to say "It's not bad at all" ? 😂. Laughable really, the hate is real
Lol it's because Messi and Ronaldo spoiled our generation with insane stats
That too without european competition. Could've crossed 50+ with it.
Dude said Palmer's weakness is that he is slow....those who know game appreciate that's among of his strengths. Pulls in opponents and unleash killer passes.
No, what he said was that when he was playing for City, he looked slow. Guess what!!! He did! He was a sluggish, selfish player who was always looking for the glory himself, even when an easy pass for an assist was there. Based on that version of Palmer, it was not much of a loss at all. Playing week in and week out at Chelsea has unleashed a side of him that was never seen in City's first team.
Palmer was wrongly profiled as a winger.....his game will develop to become more of a Kdb than any winger
@@clintonabdallah4807 No, he was rightfully introduced to City's first team as a winger to ease him in to first team football. It has less pressure than playing centrally. Guardiola did the same with Foden, and also Bobb.
true.. like KDB and TAA said themselves, the ball travels faster than we can run
@@handsolo1209Palmer won't play like this in city cuz pep won't let him.
E.g. Grealish of villa is soo much clear of Grealish of city and that's on pep how he wants his players to play.
Only KDB gets the free role under him.
If you watch Chelsea and think his output will level, you not really paying attention. His goalscoring have reduced once he was moved to 10, but the amount of repeatable creative actions he does again, his assists at least will improve way more with clinical attackers
Rice brought Arsenal from 2nd to 2nd, with superstarts around him.
Palmer brought Chelsea from mid table to European charge, with Jackson as a striker and Badiashite as his defender 😂
Jackson a 22 years old striker, his 1st season at the Epl 14 Goals 5 Assist.
Mate the boy is really under estimated as well.
2nd and with the better stats. palmer brought chelsea from midtable to midtable. so where is your logic?😂 read GA GF not really improvement for chelsea😂
@@fendi2785 There's a difference between midtable and European places, Mr. Logic!
@@moustaphaaididmasta7106 I can bear his chances missed but I can't stand his decison making, they're terrible!

Palmer is better than Bellingham.
He should be the young player of the season as well!
Foden and Haaland are over 22yo so calling them young player is a stretch.
Young player award should be given to anyone who's 22 and under.
Sigh...there is a cut-off date. Foden and Haaland are born before that date, so they qualified because they were 22 when the season began.
In most leagues "young player" refers tu U-21
@@b4nterontilt245 And yet there is an u-23 wc...
@@handsolo1209 U-21 as well
@@b4nterontilt245 U23 has always been the cut off between young player and senior player. A player who is 22 when the season begins counts even if is 23 when it ends. Even the Olympics is a U23 competition. I'm not saying that I agree with it, but it has been this way for years.
I watch Chelsea now because of Palmer I use to watch because of Kante
Exceptional talent❤
oh come on, Kai Havertz is a half decent player but shouldn't be anywhere near even being in the conversation for signing of the season!!
These young pundits are so much better than the old unfunny main one!
Cole Palmer about to respond and embarrass y'all again saying he'll regress
I hope so too🫡
Absolutely funny when he made us better
BRO. COLE PALMER BRO.
Kevin DeBruyne left Chelsea to play football on a regular basis, he was at a club that was winning everything at the time and he couldn`t break into the successful side, just like Salah. They both chose to go elsewhere to play regular football, the rest is history. Exactly the same situation with Cole Palmer, Who is a generational talent, but unlike DeBruyne, fortunately Palmer is English.
palmer easily gets ypoty but probably not poty
you know what that's Chelsea getting one back at City. you took Debryner from us , we took Palmer from you
They didn't take KDB from Chelsea.
They bought him from Germany....
@@wisdomnzube4121 wherever the case . we made a mistake in letting Debryner go and City benefited from it. and now City made a mistake by selling him to Chelsea and we are benefiting from it.
@@waynefinkman5628 how did they make a mistake? Should they have tried to force him to stay like other clubs? That's not the City way. He can leave with good wishes. It's a mistake that's left them at the top & in a final.
@@drdassler might not look like a mistake when you're on a high road. Just like Chelsea could afford to sell KDB, Salah and Hazard and still win the league twice and CL. Just keep in mind that Pep is not going to be at City forever and when the time comes, some of these decisions will come back to haunt them, or probably not. Only time can tell
Come on thats nothing, Chelsea never won a domestic treble or a treble, and never will do any of that in lifetime watch 4 straight
Kevin De Bruyne’s best ever season in the premier league for city, he got 33 G/A. Cole Palmer who was 21 years old this season, has 32 G/A.
For these guys to insinuate that “oh well it’s not that Palmer is that amazing, it’s just that he’s standing out in a really bad Chelsea side” is pure Chelsea hate and bitterness from the city fan for allowing their 2nd greatest academy product of all time, to leave for a small fee considering the market and the fact that he’s home grown
Southgate should partner Bellingham and Rice and play Palmer at the 10
🥶 Palmer
Van De Ven impact? They have given up one less goal than last season, with one game to go. Chelsea have 37 more goals than last year. Not even close
Cole Palmer could play for Madrid.
Chelsea will get better and Palmer will break through his ceiling again.
any average joe would shine in madrid. it's a poverty league. you think bellingham would have had more than 6 goals this season if he played for Liverpool in the premier league week in week out?
2:18 why bro? LOL
Guy in the black shirt with very thoughtful analysis. Besides him always seems to be people setting a cap or limit on palmers potential because they didnt expect it in the first place. Not sure people have realised. This is one of the best seasons from a 21 year old in premier league history. His ceiling is massive. No 2 ways about it
Palmer's build and playing style reminds me a lot of Kaka. Composed, good with both feet, can score and assist, has a bit of flair to him. He's done very well this season.
3:44 Have you seen the guy play? Levelling out?
It has to be Cole Palmer. Not even close. 24 Goals, 12 assists. Ridiculous numbers!
Boy oh boy i knew
Cole Palmer doesn’t play center mid he plays “RW or the number 10”
Maybe this guy either isn’t a real man city fan which there isn’t many out there or he just didn’t watch often enough , even at city the talks of him being as good or slightly below foden were quite loud
No they weren't. The talk at City was always that Palmer has the talent, but not the temperament. He was greedy and petulant at times. Oscar Bobb was seen as the much better prospect. Palmer was never compared favourably to Foden at all. Quite the opposite, the comparisons were about what Foden does that Palmer doesn't.
definitely got his football knowledge from highlights and transfermarkt stats
It’s not even close. Unreal under any circumstances.
Kai Havertz being in this discussion is an insult to the sport 😂

@@beautifulgame1935it's 27G14A in all comp. 41GA contribution in al comp
Palmers numbers will stay the same or go up with Nkunku near him
I think we're witnessing the emergence of a Ballon D'or level English player. Yes, Foden, Saka and Bellingham are already elite and on the cusp yet they've had at least three full years playing to reach this level, Cole has had one...in a somewhat disjointed, mediocre team in arguably the hardest league in the world. Plus he rarely even featured in the first six games. He seems to have this Harry Kane-esque hunger to pad his stats either with goals or assists every game he plays. Haaland and Messi are those players with natural talent (Messi's case)/physical attributes (Haaland's) which the game comes easier to them. Whereas the likes of Harry Kane and Cristiano Ronaldo had to hone their craft as well as work harder to reach that level. Cole Palmer is a combination of both archetypes. Natural talent from a young age yet had to work extra hard to improve as he was very slight in his younger years. He was very close to being released by City for his smaller frame and doubts crept in if he could transition into men's football. That spurred him on to succeed even more which is bleeding into his first team game, he's unrelenting. Unlike most, he very rarely allows a game to go by without impacting it. He doesn't disappear in a games. This group will improve as a collective and if you add a burgeoning Jackson as well as a fit-again Nkunku, Cole could possibly reach those heights.
When Cold Palmer Dey 🧊!!
Easy playing once a week. Teams will adapt to his game and adjust to suit. If he finds away around thst. Then he’ll be worth all the noise. But I think it’s to early.
How can we anticipate Chelsea competing at the pinnacle if Palmer remains the sole producer? While it's true that other players must elevate their game for team success, historical precedents demonstrate that title-winning teams boast multiple contributors. Manchester United's triumphs, fueled by the likes of Tevez, Rooney, Ronaldo, and Giggs, underscore this principle. As Palmer continues to progress, his growth will undoubtedly contribute to Chelsea's success and eventual title victories.
Without Palmer Chelsea would've been second page of EPL table.Chelsea got saviour
Whats this on and on about penalties?
He’s a QPR fan hates Chels 😢
Signing of the season is JLA for ESPN surely. Someone who isnt just a clickbait merchant.

Why does he mention 9 penalties? Is he meant to miss them or what? Stupidest thing I’ve ever heard.
Pretty obvious 🥶
Best player in the league
You’re wrong about Palmer.
He will only get better
They are still hating on palmer even after he proved them wrong, just pathetic.
Do you have to score penalties, yes or no. These lots stressing too much about him scoring penalties
KDB 4 City and Palmer 4 Chelsea
@00:47 This should be the end of this guys punditry career.
“Get rid of him, £40m, unbelievable bargain”, “He didn’t look like this player at Man City”.
Brother you’re not good at analysing or talking about football. Do something else.
Duh?
He has better potential then bellingham
Chelsea analysis has been truly terrible mainly because of agendas and preconceived notions about Chelsea from last season which btw let go of most of those players
He is a decent player, not a "generational talent" in my opinion. His biggest handicap is his lack of pace. Why do we crown these players after 1 good season?! Why not wait until 5-6 seasons then make a judgement...
Because generational talent are given to young players, not established players.
@@frankreynolds9930 Whether you're young or established, you still belong to a particular generation
He's been unbelievable, looks like the best player in the league, so he deserves the praise now.
You have zero ball knowledge
Decent? That’s is the worst take I have ever seen. Decent is Chris wood mate. Not a player who has literally broke records this season.
I’m sorry…Kai? Sure he’s looked better at Arsenal but all of his goals have been tap ins or headers lol
The good thing beside Cole Palmer's improvement was they (Chelsea) managed to play as a team after Carabao Cup final.
Finally, Poch already make an impact for his team. His team also has a lot of challenge to face. I hope Todd Boehly keep Poch in Chelsea for a long time.
Cole palmer has been that guy. Man shitty underestimated/undervalued him

Well, hate to burst your bubble, but he did get to play at Man City (41 games) and he looked like a very good prospect, but he was selfish and lazy. City was about the team, not the individual, so he stood out because of that (often ignoring a pass to a teammate so he could go for glory himself). Chelsea right now is about the individual, so he has a lot more freedom. The test will be when they are expected to win trophies and the team has to be more selfless and not going for individual glory.
