In this video we explain how you can connect the factory microphone retention wire WLEX5MIC if you want to use the factory microphone for CarPlay and Android Auto, using the VLine VL2 or VLite VT2 system.
The WLEX5MIC cable can be used with the LEX5 and LEX5LS models of VLine VL2 or VLite VT2 system.
Important:
Always refer to our manual that shows the location of the pins for the correct vehicle wires. Sometimes the colors of the wires can be different depending on the vehicle. Always refer to the specific pin location, as specified in our supplied guide. Also ensure proper connection with the P-Taps, and do not forget to plug the 3.5mm phone jack end of the WLEX5MIC wire into the mic slot of the VLine VL2 / VLite VT2 main box.
