I’m so glad there’s finally a new robe so I can finally hang up the Darkmoor Malistaire robe. Only took 60 levels and 8 years later lol.

I honestly think they need to increase the accuracy on the new storm robes 110+ because the malistaire robe shouldn't be better than the gear at a higher level.
It should be hardest for storm to reach 100% acc. mOst schools have to run mali robe to get 100% acc and pip chance. Not just storm. If they are running merciless
Crit decay doesn’t exist anymore fyi, your crit multiplier and chance is affected by your opponent’s block, so the reason your criting less is because they have higher block
Is there a way to know how much block they have? Also what is a good crit number to have around this level?
@@Gamerexpert3399 when you hover over your hit in a fight, it will show the enemies block rate and the damage it will do

The gear is level 160, but I’m pretty sure they changed it to 150 so anyone in test realm can test it out

Life is actually kinda insane now with the new pins on the gear, with just 2 outgoing pins you can easily get 100% outgoing
They'll probably move the levels up to 160 on live, this is probably for people to compare in test

It’s great gear but now it takes forever to farm. I have done so many runs and gotten nothing! I hope the devs fix it.

I'd say definitely! Rock a good setup that has max acc/close to max power pip chance then you're good
For sure. You may need to run sniper on your pet, but Aeon robes are far better than Tenni or Mali even losing a talent on your pet.

Blaze I am happy with my old gear works find. I think they did to much modification on the spells just my opinion. Handle, Hunter Soul Cloud we played karmel one time way back. Like your commentary always on the game.
My dude considering you haven’t consistently played in over a year you really shouldn’t be giving people gear advice. There are ways to get better damage and pierce with Aeon robe, and Malistaire is outdated. It isn’t BIS anymore.
Also the gear is level 150 for testing reasons. It will be 160 at launch.

Mali robe is EXTREMELY FAR from BIS now thanks to this setup below:
Malevolent storm cap (13% Pip chance, 6% Accuracy, 6% Pierce, 30% Damage)
Storm Nullity Robe (8% Pip chance, 11% Accuracy, 6% Pierce, 30% Damage)
Storm Aeon Boots (0% Pip chance, 5% Accuracy, 43% Damage)
Storm Aeon wand (9% Pierce, 29% Damage)
Storm Aeon Athame (15% PP with at least a 13% Accuracy triangle jewel, 12% Pierce with jewels, 24% Damage)
Whatever amulet works for you
Storm Aeon Ring (6% pierce jewel, 19% Damage)
Quint mighty pet on frill bonus (33% Damage)
Frill mount for set bonus (6 extra damage due to set bonus)
Whatever deck you want WITH 10% Pip chance socket
214 damage now that damage cap is gone, at least 45% pierce without any pierce amulet and at most 49% pierce with darkmoor amulet, 103% Pip chance, AND at least 35% accuracy and at most 38%.

Yah the issue is none of these have power pip chance. The gear is ok but not great.
Nah the gear is amazing. For power pip chance you just need to use a deck with a triangle slot and then you will have 100% power pip and you just use Mali robe for accuracy. Everything except for the robe, amulet and deck is worth upgrading to.
Gonna use the Novus gear to beat novus in test realm cause it is NOT FUN.

@@iansmith3016 depends on what you want to do and pve or pvp. Pvp i hear ice and life are cracked but pve ice and life sucked. Fire is easy mode and storm is also meta for PVE.
