For those wondering where to get the level 50 grizzleheim rings and athames, its from Knut Brightwood. You have to do the side quest The Thaw That Counts from Vanir Stormroarer to unlock him. Once you do you can buy them with gold (no crafting required). He kinda skimmed over this one so I had to do some digging and figured I'd share.
Dragoon and shane von shane amulets are definitely a must have for pve. Saves the world of time questing just being able to turn 3-4 round fights into 1-2 rounds. Also can we use this comment as a petition to make the dragoon hit animations faster because they're slow affff. Reminds me of og khrulhu💤
I agree with Shane but not dragoon, not only is the extra damage almost never needed (especially if your questing with someone else) but the animations are so long it just doesn’t make it worth it. I especially advocate this for storms, as they can just do a second tempest
@@divonisback the wyvern animation is so long you can probably insta click a tempest faster after round especially if you go first, also since storm has temp you start off with 5 pips making the temp be closer to the amulet wyvern damage it’s such a low damage boost and this isn’t even mentioning you’d have to farm dragoon for it, the time you waste farming dragoon could be time finishing up a world
@melody724 ur speaking from the pov of someone that didnt farm dragoon when 130 was cap. I played during the 130 cap which is why the "time to farm" isnt a factor because i was already farming for everything so thats irrelevant. Also I've tested everything im saying so your "probably" doesnt hold much weight. When 150 was the cap dragoon hits were the fastest method to do the last fight. Same with don, same with duelist, and the list goes on. I pay attention to which of my runs are the fastest and its always been a matter of how much help i get at the main hitter. I can already tell you're partially responsible for my back problems 🤦🏾♂️
Imo gear between 100-160 is becoming more diverse since the spiral Villains pack gear, while expensive, are about on par with stats that exalted, jade, and dragoon gear give. It’s another option for those who don’t want to farm full sets.
i really like your mentality for this guide. important lessons i took so long to learn. note: i think lvl 60 waterworks is actually more worth than 56 crafted gear, little more stats but really just pick your posion.
(Sheesh, this is gigantic.) \/ Some missed items and other dropped stuff \/ There are also lvl 15 wand drops from Sapoti (one of the Krokotopia Wooden Key bosses) - there's seven wands with two damage to the given school and they give a free normal pip at start. It does require a Key, but I would prefer it still be added as an option - it's not like everyone seems to skip majority of the places here in favor of Mount Olympus -> Waterworks / Zigazag -> Darkmoor / Khrysalis and so on > At levels 35 and 45 are some decent Bazaar clothing if someone was unlucky at Mount Olympus or Barkingham Palace. > At levels 110 (Polaris) and 120 (Mirage), there are some decent boot and deck drops at the end of the world if you so wish as well - these items were endgame content at the time, and are still good if you don't have the funds for pack variants. > At level 125, the Cabalist hat and boots alongside Tenni'syn's robe are available. Cabalist clothing is able to be auctioned at the Bazaar, and sometimes you'll find some to spare. Tenni'syn is the Empyrea (Part 1)'s Stone Key Boss dropping appearance clothing and stats robes. > At levels 132, 135, 138, 142, 145, and 148 are some decent wands and at levels 135 and 138 are some decent rings being able to be auctioned. The wands' stats generally are identical, and their values change very little at the higher levels. The rings are some of the best damage rings with the lack of Power Pip Chance. (Avoid the level 132, 142, 145, and 148 rings if possible, because their damage is lower than 135 and 138 - ask KingsIsle why they thought a level 148 ring should have lesser damage with other stats boosted than a level 138 ring. XD) There's also some rather uncommon (if not rare) farmed items in this game I should note: > For the balance school, there is a universal resist ring dropped in Kembaalung Village for level 25 - there's three ring tiers in total, but the Wiki doesn't seem to state where the highest tier drops from. The high- and middle-tier rings both give 2 resist, and are a must for straight-tank builds at the higher levels. (Unless you desire to use Hathi's Victory Band at level 62 for some additional health.) > At level 40, every school can farm for the lowest-level-dropped damage rings from Barkingham Palace. > For history's sake, Briskbreeze Tower in Colossus Boulevard of Wizard City still drops level 50 damage rings - they aren't as good as Dragonspyre's, but are still an option to this day. > At level 60, there is a universal school athame and ring dropping in Tower of the Helephant in Wysteria by both first and last battles, but ?you need to finish the world? to unlock it. ^ Someone correct me if I'm wrong. XD > At levels 76 for Energy and decent damage and level 86 for straight damage, there are ring drops in Avalon and Azteca unable to be auctioned. Storm's Azteca ring gives 12 damage, and most support schools' Azteca ring gives 10 damage! (The level 76 Avalon rings give the highest Energy until Darkmoor - there's level 72 lesser energy ring options in the Bazaar, too.) > At level 90, the lowest-level-dropped amulet giving critical and resist drops from Hades the Unseen in Tartarus - it's also a universal school amulet. > Fun fact: Hades the Unseen drops two different clothing sets - aside from Tartarus Poseidon and Zeus clothing.
Another fun fact: I don't know if they had changed the odds to get Hades' Amulet of Divine Influence as of yet. Cause it was the rarest item in the game back in my time until Morganthe's amulets are very similar and KI raised her drop rates at level 99.

I did it but spent 645 crowns for 6 hours cause I was farming zeus/senator gear for my ice. I also attempted gladiator even though I was very low level on my ice. I did manage to get the ring on my fire who is almost done with Azteca. Next up is probably gonna be Tartarus after I unlock wild giants and Xibalba.
Only a week in Darkmoor!? The more videos I watch, the more I realize that i had abysmal luck there, I was in Darkmoor for two and a half weeks. Nearly drove myself insane, and I never even ran Aphrodite... 😭 I was soloing Krok exalted just to get a break from that place!!
Best questing pet bodies are the school hamsters each of them gives one ele or spirit shield, one sharpen blade ítem card and a school blade ítem card - mount get 55% speed mounts only way tbh you don't need the slow ass 3% gulture mounts my favorite is the festive snowped
just got back into wizards 2 days ago after not playing for 10+ years, this was the exact video i have been looking for, any recommended crown gear to buy for leveling, i have a level 20 myth and 30 storm being my main characters
Most recommend not buying crown gear pre max. However buying sinbad hoard packs at lvl 10. Increases lvl 10 to 30 a ton. Sinbad is rng but can save you a ton crowns (compared to starter sets) with luck plus stat mount chance and getting it at lvl 10 is perfect for breezing to lvl 30 and you only need 7 items from the packs to have the sets for all classes.
Watchtower boots, Jacket of Withstanding and Midsummer Cowl all drop from Nightshade, so if you already have a max, you can just grind him and get the gear. It took a couple days, but I got all the pieces. And Heartsteel drops from Prince Gobblestone in Colossus Boulevard too. You can share all this gear so all your new wizards can have amazing starting gear that I frankly don't consider changing until you reach the late 20s in level

get someone to help quest u to lvl 58 then u good to get bazaar gear until ur 60 then u work with waterworks or zigzag until lvl 100 darkmoor then just go to lvl 160 for aon
If you have a second character hatch on there, otherwise I’d say I wasn’t able to hatch on a fresh account until around level 40 is when I got the funds

Alpha and omega ring can only be farmed in the first dungeon in aquila. The gladiator drops it.

For me, doing crafting quests takes way too long to be worth it. You have to spend hours upon hours farming for materials and it's horrible.

I would recommend a pet with Accuracy Talent, specially for starting on a Storm or Fire .

Just wait for Zeus gear at 30 and the sky iron wand literally carry’s you until super late because damage is a lot more important than crit
