God poor Mary-Louise Parker. All the way through she's got the face of a woman who lives with an abusive husband but is scared to tell anyone anything in case he blows up again.

Now that we know he's been diagnosed with Frontal Temporal Dementia, these moments are telling. FTD starts to change your personality.
There's a difference between being *real* and being a jerk. Matt Damon is an example of hating doing press but being professional while at it

While there wasn't anything dramatic going on in the interview, I though there was a clear "tension" among all the people in the room. Bruce was making a lot of funny faces throughout the whole thing, and Mary looked frightened for some reason :D

Hindsight is 20/20, but I just read about Willis's dementia diagnosis and remembered watching this interview thinking there's totally something wrong with him. Early signs of dementia are there up to 10 years before diagnosis studies say.
Am I the only one who didn't see anything wrong with this interview?? It seemed quite good to me. They answered his questions and I enjoyed the answers...

Lyndsay W the woman is very boring. Nothing interesting as a person. Zero. Then...Willis is trying to show how much smarter he is than the jurnalist...no modesty, not a trace of respect.

I think people are getting it confused with the other interviewer. I think they switched the guy out because this is greatly improved! Just bad chemistry on the first part. I think Bruce Willis is candid and just tired abd cranky nit so much dementia (not saying it isn't started, but is it really all that different from a man having a bad day if you didn't know better?)

This interviewer was good. Asked questions that they were at least somewhat interested in, and matched their energy levels.
You know what, I love Bruce Willis. He just doesn't give a fuck. Why should actors have to be so excited about everything? Yes they're supposed to push movies and yes they're there to sell them - but if you aren't a big fan of being questioned by dozens of people about the same film, would you not end up being a little grumpy? In all fairness, I can see where he's coming from. And some of the interviewers are so braindead. Fair play to the guy, he at least tries to have a bit of a laugh. He's just not as outgoing as his characters - people are just far too judgemental

Heard you talk about this on the podcast, I thought "I'm surprised Empire don't have a CZcams channel".... Ok so it turns out you do, I'm now thinking "I'm surprised you never mention it!?!..."
This was another interview focused on things non related to the film, these sorts of interviews, like Tarantino has said, are just commercials, they are another way of pushing the film, and its the interviewers job to help them out, they are like leeches making money on advertising, they are no different to the adverts that pop up and bother you on the screen, but instead of a banner, billboard or trailers, its a dude with a microphone, these questions are pointless. They handled this interviewers attempt to surpass his place in the grey area of media by trying to deliver what is quite frankly hardly passable 'news'. You can see it in the Krishaan - Tarantino interview, and the Robert DJ interview with the same man.
This interviwer asks elementary questions. He may as well ask,
"what's your favorite color? What's your favorite dildo? What's your favorite favorite fav?"
These comments have not aged well...
Who let that guy into the building? How did he get to interview those two? (They were probably wondering the same).

I agree that the interviewer was asking all the wrong question, but I also think Bruce was polite enough. But I also think that not buttoning up your shirt or taking your robe off is fucking lazy and unprofessional

I can see why actors get annoyed. The same happened Robert Downey jr when he was promoting the avengers and got asked about his drug past. Bruce is an old school actor trying to promote the movie actors do not like small talk.

Which came first? This interview or the magic interview? The only difference is bruce is wearing the jacket in this one and is not as miserable lol. Gotta love Bruce though.
