If you did not know, "115" is referring to the fictional "element 115" that the Germans (of the Call of Duty universe) used on their soldiers to try and turn them into super soldiers. It had the side-effect of reanimating the cells after death, aka, creating zombies.

The map origins is the story of how they found the "element 115" in the ancient tomb that was full of zombies from that fallen and buried empire causing a war between man and the dead, dr.maxis experimented on it and opened a portal to the nether using the either out of the element to make time machines eventually causing the walls between dimensions to collapse, causing a portal between our worlds

The biblical themes make the lyrics so much more powerful IMO. The context in which they use the terms as well as the context used within the game really drives home the feel of the song for me.
Listening to it back now and reading ur comment gave me chills cause I didn’t get the lyrics when I was young just playin zombies but now I’m older and learnin more about Christianity makes the lyrics hit x100 harder

The singing is all Elena this is her first time ever screaming in a song and she nailed it

@@silvadantas100 Kevin and Elena themselves stated that they used a vocal synthesizer for Elena, when it came to the distorted screams and vocals. 115 is Elena's first time doing the screams herself, since she was hesitant at first, but when she did it, everyone laughed, Elena included, cause it came out better than they expected, and so she continued to do it, until The Gift, Mystery, and Shockwave, where she no longer did the screams.
115 is a fictional element within the lore that's responsible for creating the zombies

You should definitely react to the rest of the soundtrack for zombies great music, some of the best I’ve ever listened to. Each of the songs also relates to the lore of the story in the games.

115 is the element used to bring the dead back to life in cod zombies and its used to make things called wonder weapons which are special weapons with special abilities thanks to the element
So almost every single zombies map has a song hidden in it, this one is from Kino.
Skrillex did a song, A7X did a few.
But besides those all the songs are made in house by treyarch, (the game developers)
Elena is doing both the clean vocals and the screams, this being the first time doing a song with clean screams, the previous song that she did for Call of Duty Zmbies being distorted screams.

Needed this type of content that I searched up if anyone has reacted to these awesome songs and yes the song is in cod but only in kino der totem map dlc pack or ps3 version idk bout any other copies tho and you can only trigger the song if you find three meteorites and one of them is in the starting room in the middle of the room placed on a pedestal just hold square on it

I can recommend doing a reaction of "Dead again" by the same people, only quite a few years after 115 was made! U can hear they have come miles with Elina's voice and the whole composition of the music.... all this from just being devs at the game-studio 👍
