Say what you will about the prequels, but Revenge is by far the most compelling of the three and has arguably the best lightsaber duel in the films
The fact that both windu and Palpatine said someone was too dangerous to be kept alive really shows how similar the jedi and sith were
“So this is how Liberty dies… with thunderous applause.” 😢 As a soldier this was heart wrenching to hear, because when liberty is taken, people give it up.
Palpatine didn't just want it to happen, he made it happen.
In the end. You can blame Sidius all you want for turning Anakin, but in truth, Mace had a lot to do with it too. The constant doubt of him, the constant treating him like a child despite how many times he risked his life to save others. The judgment. And in the end when Mace said "he's too dangerous to be kept alive", the exact same thing Sidius said about Dukoo (sp?), Anakin felt, Jedi, Sith, they aren't so different, so why not join the side that has the possibility of saving the one person he loves?
From my perspective, the Jedi were 100% at fault for Anakin’s turning to the dark side. They knew full well that he was predisposed to extreme fear of loss and did nothing to help him counter it. For example, what would it have hurt to bring his mom to a safer place and let him visit from time to time while he was still young?
Anakin actually did feel remorse for all of his actions including what he had done to the Tuskens. The first time (Tuskens) Anakin’s overwhelming grief turned into blind rage. As he told Padme “I know I’m better than this “, he lost control and he regretted it deeply ever since.
Revenge of the sith was the highlight of my entire childhood experience just throwing that out there
Good soldiers follow orders
Best Star Wars movie in my opinion.
'He tried so hard to not let that happen, but it happened because he was trying so hard'
Yes, Vader, at this time, believes Luke and Leia died with Padme.
Ian Mcdiarmid should have received an Oscar for his portrayal of Darth Sideous in this movie. Never seen a better personification of evil and cruelty, it’s like he’s getting off on the pain of others.
Revenge Of The Sith is the Best Starwars Film Ever Made, Hayden Christensen Portrayed Anakin Skywalker/Vader Absolutely Perfect.
This trilogy was awesome. The tragedy is very well written. Many people criticise the politics and the cheesyness, but it is actually the things I do appreciate. And damn all those memes are hilarious.
The Clone Wars show explain even more by giving more examples to Anakin on the Council's hypocrisy and distrust on him.
I always loved Anakin’s prophetic line about saving Obi-Wan: ‘His fate will be the same as ours’

“He tried so hard to not let that happen, but it happened because he was trying so hard” 😢😢 so cool to see people’s genuine reactions to these icon films.
