Sir, I watched a lot of your video's, i like them a lot and find them very inspiring, but sorry i have to tell one critical point. To watch the latest video's is not so comfortable because of the shaking background footage. Maybe it's my problem, but anyway i wanted to let you know! Greetings Rob

Thank you Raja for the module last week; I absorb everything of the course, because I really want to dive deep!
During meditation I am in a deep silence. Even the breath fades away. Sometimes I find it difficult to chant because I then activate the breath and get back into the brain again. Do you have an idea how I can handle this? And ... shall I miss the moment of truth when Kundalini leads me to realization? Thank you so much, looking forward to the next one. Greetz, Ray

This is the clue to awaken Kundalini from the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, therefore both are one and the same.
"Whether one be a man or a woman, by restraining the sexual matter [bindu: seed] that others [ordinary people] discharge during cohabitation [via orgasm], one obtains success in the practice of Vajroli.
By means of a pipe [nadi, energetic channel], one should direct the wind-energy [by pranayama] slowly into the passage of the male organ.
Through practice, the sexual matter that others discharge [via orgasm] is drawn upwards [into the spinal column]. One can restrain and preserve one's own sexual matter.
The Yogi who can preserve his sexual matter thus overcomes death; death comes by discharging sexual matter [via orgasm], and life is prolonged by its preservation [avoiding orgasm].
By preserving the sexual seed [within the body], the body of the Yogi emits a pleasing smell. There is no fear of death, so long as the sexual seed is well-controlled in the body.
The sexual seed of men is under control of the mind, and life is dependent on the sexual seed. Hence, mind and sexual seed should be controlled by all means."

Dear Raja, i don't know how I could reach you by email as I have some questions. I had a very weird episode 3 months ago i was dancing and suddenly i entered in like trance state my body was controlling me I was like high and i felt something was moving me from sky like the movement of a pendulum and i saw some beautiful colours moving. I was watching my body from inside like it's 2 separate things : my body and the me. I started to have my head outside my body and i was afraid on the same time, because felt that i didn't have a choice like someone was pull me to go outside. My friend got afraid and she called me several time before i "wakeup". Since then, each that I meditate I still have the same movement that i cannot control. Before this episode I wasn't very into meditation or spirituality, also i have never heard about kundalini until i do some researches. I have also been very depressive, hypersensitive, fear, anxiety, basically all all the emotions that I ve been working on since a very long time. I feel like i ve lost part of my confidence and personality. Can you please guide me to maybe control this energy (if it's really the kundalini)... email: n.ouhad40@@t

Is it really safe to awake Kundalini on a western way, i.e without the all-time direct supervision of a Guru/Master?
In Western world we tend to want to make everything happen "right here, right now" but to me this kind of energy, awaken too early, can really be harmful.
In India, the Master helps his pupil to awaken it GRADUALLY according to his level of readiness.
However, in western culture, it looks like Kundalini has to be unleashed in one shot.
I have read a lot of people litterally lost their mind by doing so; some felt like all their body is burning from inside.
Others finished in psychiatric hospitals, others said they feel like they let demons enter their body and mind...
Besides, I am not sure this is compatible with a Religious faith (monotheism) since:
    1. this energy is described as a snake (like the one in the bible?) in the bottom of the spine
    2. yoga is all about uniting Shiva and Shakti, i.e the sun and the moon
    3. there are billions of gods in hinduism
For all those reasons I do not know what to think about it.
Kundalini is appealing for the consciousness part and the fact of building up and awakening your sleeping energies, but what is the price to pay? Is it really a "divine" or demonic energy? Which "god" are we talking about?
