Me too was gifted with this experience in 2006 September 23, since then I am a different person and my heart is ever filled with thanks to the cosmic energy. But I can not talk about this experience with most of people around us. All I can do is to search you like people and listen and relive the experience once again. My spiritual journey
Well, its a long story. I’ll make it short as much as possible. By then, I was a unhappy person about my whole life and I was not in a position to accept myself as I am. At the same time I was a introverted character always trying to find out the reason for everything be it outer world, be it inner world. On that certain day I was at my peak of denial to accept myself and I experienced a great deal of fear within myself as if I am going to loose my "self". I collected all my courage and I went ahead to confront my "self" as to see what is going to happen. As you might know the fear you feel at the bottom of the spine and I let it to do what ever it want to do, even if it’s going to take my life, I just wanted to see it and die. Something climber up along my back bone at a tremendous speed causing the fear of angry snake hissing and when it climbed to my chest region I felt the opposite that is the utter love, one ever could not imagine and it went ahead to my top of my head through neck. What I witnessed was the death of my mind which was actually my own creation of thoughts which were responsible for my unhappiness. That is the point I had my first hand experience that beyond body and mind, there is one more thing which doesn't suffer by influence of thought and it is pristine. I started from that day onwards to frequent this and learned it as "consciousness". Once I found my consciousness, I worked on it through meditation and separated my mind from it clearly day by day. The greatest joy of having the mind at a distance and looking at its childish play is indescribable.
Cheagar Sangaralingam Your account sounds like a psychedelic trip to me. I know exactly what you mean. You are talking about the death of your ego. I have experienced the same thing you describe but nothing on the spine. The feeling that you are going to die which is egodeath and the amazing feeling of unity with everything and everyone after the egodeath. As if you are the creator yourself. But the thing is these experiences i had were all on a psychedelic trip either on LSD or Magic Mushrooms. It is almost impossible to bring that feeling to this real world for me. I only can get traces to this side. So it was just a big psycological breaking point that triggered this awakening in you? Without any kind of psychedelic or guru or mantra being involved?

Hello and thanks you for your wisdom. I have a question. I had an experience 3 years ago. I experienced a shift in consciousness that took me by surprise. I had the quintessential experience unknown to me at the time. It’s been a journey and I have never done yoga, mantras, or other things to seek this out, I was completely unaware of what happened. What is your opinion on such happenings. Iv had an extremely difficult and magical life and I want to stress difficult lol. I am now learning about this experience from a first hand knowledge and am blow away that I’m experiencing this. Please let me know if you have any input, I really appreciate your time and consideration. 🙏❤️
