I so want to add soap making to my list of natural products I make for myself. As I've gotten older, much older, my skin has gotten very sensitive to most of the soaps on the market. So I have to look for and buy all natural soaps, but they have to have a moisturizer in them or my skin gets really dry. I make my own natural body butters, but in the heat of coastal Georgia my body butters just make me feel even hotter. I've watched and read many of the soap making instructions, but prefer a hands on instruction. So now I'm looking for a soap making class and only finding one that's a few hours away. I guess I'll have to take a mini vacation and take a class as part of it. 😂

Thats great! You may have a difficult time finding a truly non toxic soap with moisturizer in it. I have been on an all organic journey for about 10 years and finding a truly non toxic soap means they don't usually add colors or moisturizer. So you can use an organic coconut oil or even organic Mango butter which Im in love with, after you dry off because even the process of making soap has lye in it, so a pure castile soap is the bare bones of purity and they use gentle natural scent oils that are what they are, like mint or another organic oil as a way to scent them.
