  • Jessie, a seven-year-old black Staffordshire terrier rescue, helped pull her furry companion, 13-year-old Chucky, a Pomeranian, after he fell in their owner's pool in Boksburg City, South Africa.
In heartwarming CCTV footage, Jessie can be seen pacing up and down the sides of the pool trying to use her mouth to pull Chucky out of the water for 34 minutes as he tries to stay afloat. After several attempts the black Staffordshire, a rescue dog, manages to get a grip on the small dog and drag him out before they both scamper off in the garden.

It was frustrating to watch, because we can see that the big dog is trying to be gentle and not hurt the little one, but there was nothing for her to grab on to. She didn't want to grab the little dog's ear or leg because she knew that would hurt. But the correct place to grab the little dog -- the scruff of his neck -- was facing away from her and inaccessible.

No that's where you're wrong. There are certain breeds that no matter how much love you give them and raise them right, you- just- don't- get them as pets. The nature of the dog will show in time. They can snap at any time and maul you to death. Too many incidents. And the very worst, my old neighbour. They raised their pittbull in the most unbelievable loving way. The whole family and friends told them not to get a pit bull. They didn't listen. The vet was totally opposed to those pitbull breeds. The dog played with the 3 kids peacefully for years. Then one day her 6 year old played catch bubbles soap out in the garden with the dog. He snapped and mauled the poor little kid. Half her face was gone. She bled to death but survived and her face is completely disfigured. Her lips were shredded in pieces. Very very lucky to be alive. Years of repetitive facial surgeries. Esp her nose had to be built. She always has problems breathing. My neighbour always tell everyone, it was the biggest regret, decision they made. Their daughter is now 11 and literally is just not the same. To all those people who carry on... it's how you raise them... NO!!!! There are some breeds that you just don't consider pets. Eventually, they are true to their nature and can kill you. PERIOD. I would never ever ever get a pitbull breed. In some states in the country, they ban the breed. Agree

Barked in an unusual way and luckily dad (who was inside house)heard him and ran to pull our 100lb dog out! Thank goodness dad heard him as it was something we never expected at 10 years old our dog knew better and had never in his life jumped into the pool before, he fell in due to the weakness in his back legs probably getting a morning drink from the pool. There has always been products, natural ones for joints. Their certainly not new, I wonder why it is that no one ever seems to know about them and apparently neither do vets. I have a list of all the stuff for joints as I’m on Facebook and my hobby is dog food/health and yeah pre written lists are important as lots of people ask.
      Collagen powder
Bone broth powder/concentrate or regular watery version
      Rosehip powder
      Turmeric and pepper
      Shark cartilage or powder

      Salmon oil/plant oils

Glucosamine and chondroitin found naturally in bone broth/green lipped and shark cartilage but can be bought by itself outside of these products

You could see him getting more and more tired and dipping deeper as the big dog lost grip. Also, children can drown in an inch of water if say they hit their head and fall face down, or play rough w a friend who accidentally drowns them. Pools should always be covered when not supervised by an adult.
