no... dude went in bc he had a phone call. yes, now he knows he shouldn't have left the kid alone like that, but he had reason to believe that living in the middle of nowhere like that the kid would be okay. All we saw of their actual parenting, other than that, was through arguing that was shown immediately to be them making up stories abt each other bc they both felt guilty and angry and wanted to put the blame on the other. we don't know if they were good or bad parents all we know is that the kid walked off into the woods and couldn't be found, and the aftermath of that.

Idk I think it's probably been a few years atleast. Even then she could still feel sad about it without it taking over her everyday life. Like if someone dies people might come to terms with a death and move on but still love and miss them

There was a case once where a mom killed her daughter for a man. The dad moved on, got a new family and celebrates the birthday of his lost daughter every year. Even if this is just a sims story, but people are really fast with judging and all I can say is that "don't judge if you have never been in the same shoes as someone". None of us wants to experience the loss of a child. And moving on is part of life.
In my neighbourhood was a woman that gave her child away. All that stupid ladys here where like "I could never do that" or "what a bitch to give her kid away" nobody cared that she was raped and couldn't build a relationship to that child. She said that she wanted that child to have a loving family because she knew she wouldnt be able to love the kid. There is always a story.

all these "I can't believe they forgot their daughter like that-" "I can't believe she would move on so easily-" sent me 💀 they didn't forget. It wasn't easy. Just because they finally found peace and moved on (excluding the father, unfortunately) does not mean they will forget or ever stop mourning for their baby. The only ones who could understand these decisions with the aftermath are the ones living it, and it's not fair to judge their decision to finally move on to better themselves by what you think is right or wrong. These parents have been searching for months on, a year at least, and realistically, most missing cases end up badly if not found in just a certain and rather short amount of time. Clearly this mother could not forgive the careless actions of her husband that lead to the possible death of their child, that is so understandable and it's crazy to me that I see people talking badly about her for moving on. Staying in a miserable marriage is NOT THE ANSWER, EW. And yes, I sympathize so much for her husband, he had so much weight knowing he may have been able to prevent all of this. I was sad knowing he could not find his way out. Suicide isn't a defining factor of who loves their child more. She didn't "move on" with her new child. She will always love her fiercely and just the same as her new baby. I think the creator was trying to convey more than just a story, but some aren't grasping the point. I haven't felt so much emotion with these on this level, it's intense. I felt so much for all of these characters, so shout out to the creator for this insane masterpiece 🙌🏻

@Cecilia Carlsson thank you! I keep seeing comments that say the mother is awful for "letting this happen" or "moving on so fast" and just countless other things. But first off, she trusted her husband to put the baby was in his care. But we live in a society where the mothers are to blame whenever a situation heads south. And secondly, as a mother I have to say if I ever had a child that disappeared and was presumed dead while under my husband's watch, I'd never be able to look at my husband the same way again. I'd 100% leave the man that was responsible for letting my child die. And this would sound heartless coming from an outside source, but a mother loves no one more than her own child. So maybe for some, you have to already have the mindset. But I'm not sure, logic doesn't seem to do it for these people.

in conclusion both of them were bad parents neither of them knew what to really do and they started fighting after losing her that is never what you should do because that makes everything even harder also she was stupid to keep the toy instead of giving it to a dog or something to sniff their daughter out also she did move on quickly but not from the dad instead from the little girl
@@kamya4883 you're wrong. People are allowed to move on in life. Just bc the author didn't show it does not mean it didn't happen. The father took a call. Sure it was reckless but it was in the privacy of his backyard the last place you'd think it would happen. The mother had a right to argue with the father. Like I said what he did was reckless. But you'd still never expect for it to happen. The worst thing for a mother is to lose a child. No exceptions. What do you want her to do? Live miserable for the rest of her life!? After a while, the cops would stop helping and she would be looking complete on her own.

I think the mom was walk around with the puppy and then got through her ex husband house. But she just through it, because now she has a new life, new husband and new coming baby. She doesnt care or maybe just try to forget about her missing daughter and her ex husband... While the toodler go back to her home but what she found was her dad die. .

This very same thing happened in my country. A toddler from a small village started wandering and ended up getting lost in the woods. He walked for several miles (even though all the "specialists" it was impossible for a young toddler who could barely walk to be able to go that far on his own. It rained that night and the first things they found were his shoes and his jacket, which was completely damp. When they finally found him, the family dog was with him. The dog stayed with the toddler the whole time, and the fact the kid had the dog to keep him warm during the cold rainy night was probably what saved him from hypothermia. He was cold and starving when they finally found him but, thanks to the dog, he got away pretty much unscathed. Everyone kept saying it was "irresponsible" to leave such a small child without supervision but in the rural areas, it's still pretty normal for kids (even toddlers) to still play on the streets, not rarely without adult supervision, because it's generally safe since there is no traffic. The parents got the scare of their lives though.

I don't think she forgot her baby. I think the years have passed and she finds a new love and tried to have a life. It doesn't mean she doesn't miss her. I truly don't think she will forgot her. ~sorry if there are mistakes, i am still learning~

Something similar happened to me when i was little. My mom lost me while we were shopping and the police brought me back to her. Now i have a little boy and since i know how quickly something like that can happen, i never leave him waiting somewhere alone or never allow myself to be distracted. I am very carefull! I still remember so clearly how terrified and panicked i was when i couldn't find my mom!
