    What car do you think is the best Deal? Comment Below!

      I think the best bang for the buck is the Imperial. Even though it's a survivor, you get the big block power and every luxury item that Chrysler had to offer in that year. Probably the second best value is the newport convertible. Rare bodystyle in a nice color with all the comforts of your living room. New top and boot... the top and boot probably cost half of what they're asking for the car. And third best I'd say is the satellite. Just about as close to a road runner that you can get for about half the price of an actual one. I think with some nice wheels and tires... youd have a sweet ride. I guess even as a pedestrian model with wheel covers and white walls it's cool. Almost guaranteed to be the only one at the car show with it looking as pedestrian as it does and it still has decent power. The barracuda is nice and the 273s had decent power for that small body. Plus, it's already a V8 so it's just waiting for someone to stick a 408 stroker in it and make it a serious contender. Or even a late model 392 hemi... the sky is the limit because it's not quite a run of the mill barracuda but, it's also not a slant 6 car that would require a different K-member.

      Undoubtedly there are a few ‘plucks’ in this video but that 62 Valiant has years & years of daily driving left in her.

    I like the Barracuda and the Satellite. But I notice they both have nearly perfect paint. I can't help but wonder how much bondo and rust is hiding under that paint. I'd like to see the underside of those cars. I wouldn't buy one without having it inspected by an expert.

      Good points. The paint on the '62 Valiant is only 7 years old but as noted has some bubbling already. Thank you!

      many car flippers hide lots of damage with a paint job Always have a inspection done you can also check lots by yourself with a magnet if it doesn't stick its bondo

    The 1970 dart with the 225 slant 6 wouldnt have had dual exhaust. And, i cant imagine why anyone would even bother putting dual exhaust on a car like that anyway. Smh... mind boggling. Nice car though. Good car to cruise around in as long as you didnt need to get anywhere quickly. I think my top choice on this video is the satellite. Second would be the barracuda.

      Maybe someone put a split manifold on it so it would be loud and fake people out by making them think it was a v8. When anyone who knows cars would know what it was. Just dome of the things people did back then.

    • @derektrieglaff9103
      @derektrieglaff9103 Před 7 měsíci

      @@garyrudicill4031 doubtful. More like a wye pipe off the single manifold extension. That is more cost effective and you keep it running the same without having tuning issues. And even the split 6 header that they make for the slant 6 ends up into a single collector. I guess anything is possible though. But, what is the point.!?!... it doesn't make it any better. The crap part about those engines were the cylinder head design. In and out on the same side... doesn't make for ideal flow. Even porting and polishing only provides minimal gains over stock. Forced induction is the only way to see real gains... that and port fuel injection. You could have a turbo and a single 3" exhaust and get better power numbers than swapping cams and machining and such...
