Compare that to watching a contemporary MotoGP race, and you might just nod off. The myriad of transformations in the sport over the last decade or more, aimed at achieving swifter lap times and enhancing safety, have, in a way, drained some excitement from MotoGP. Today's races feature minimal overtaking, and the bikes are so intricately controlled by electronics that it feels like a different game. To us, the remnants of that thrilling, old-school racing spirit live on in Moto3. Watching a Moto3 event is like stepping back in time, a stark contrast to the current state of MotoGP.

The best era was the ,Rossi,Stoner,Pedrosa,Lorenzo "Alien" era... Motogp, no other had the freight train, first to last lap,close fighting

Everybody yaps about Ducati's dominance.
If I'm not mistaken, Ducati's engines have a 1,000 r.p.m. advantage over the next bike, and more than that over others.
Not too hatd to figure after that tidbit is it.

I owned and raced Suzuki RGV250s and 500 in the early 90s. They are the best bikes I’ve ever owned. Period. Takes real skill to ride quickly, else they throw you off. Too many electronics in MotoGP now. I’ll give current riders their credit, but the field is too close…a product of the electronics racing the bikes as much as the riders. I think MotoGP should cut down on electronics, and go more on rider skill than aides.
