I love how he manages to still have the trademarketed "good enough" vibes on the channel even though the sculptures themselves have been steadily and progressively become better and better every video.
Like, he could brag. He could, with his skill level, say "I'm fantastic and I can make almost anything".
Yet he chooses to maintain the "oh hey happy accidents" kinda thing that Bob Ross had going on.
And I live for it.
I love it.
That's literally all I'm here for lol
Like if that's over, I'm out
(Not actually- love the humor, commentary, processes, and sculptures, ofc)
WE love it 🤩
He is literally Bob Ross if he would have been a very slightly deranged scluptor instead of a painter. Granted, every artist has to be atleast a tiny bit crazy somewhere, its just a requirement to do some of the things needed for art
Im pretty sure were all here for his charisma more than his sculptures, if you think youre a fan but skip to the glamour shots instead of watching the whole video, I hate you
it’s amazing
The fact that the perfectly shaped tool found its way into adams hands for the stitching, only to mysterously disappear again is so on brand for both Adam and the season. I love it.
I think the "tool" is a Cuticle Pusher but it's so on brand and Realistic to have the perfect tool and then it just Disappears never to be seen again, So spooky so "North of the Boarder" :)
Hands down the best glow in the dark, clay imitating, burlap sack, ghost sculpture I've ever seen.
the best and only
He should’ve kept the air bubbles so he could stitch up the gaps afterwards as he had multiple stitches.
Another amazing was done like in 2 days.
Similar to this with glow in the dark effect, Boo ghost would be perfect for halloween.
A VIDEO ALREADY?? SO SOON? ADAM 🥺 he's blessed us this spooky season
Yes i am thinking the same❤😊
YES
spoke my thoughts for me
Yes
Yes
thank you for making this Halloween spooky asf, you've blursed us with some amazing content this year

I feel Oogie Boogie was meant to be made out of glow-in-the-dark clay, what with him being a stop motion model of a similar size and very much having that same green glow in the movie, just perfect!
The glow effect coloring is perfection! That thin brown wash made the exact right shade! Seriously go rewatch the Oogie Boogie Song to appreciate just what a masterpiece this is!
Dude, this may be the best clay ghost I’ve ever seen 👻
he isn’t a ghost
He's not a ghost. He's a large collection of various bugs controlling a burlap sack.
Alright my guy. You have a new mission. By the end of today you're watching The Nightmare Before Christmas. You'll thank me later .
Bro what? It’s not a ghost
@@HunhowsShadowStalker and a snake
I’ve gotta give it to you Adam, your glamour shots are 100% perfect. I love watching the process and the final result always impresses me. Keep it up and have a Happy Halloween!
Oh my...
It's so beautiful.
So majestic.
This just blew my mind into little pieces of shrapnel.
i love this comment tbh
i just had a realisation.
adam is only getting better each video. one day he will crate something so realistic, so beautiful we could never tell what's real and what isn't
*Day one* of starting a petition for Adam to make a (Stranger Things) mind flayer sculpture using cotton balls and blue and orange lights to make that storm effect.
seconded
omg yes that would be amazing
Honestly anything dnd based would be awesome
That would be amazing
Oh yes! That's a great idea!
I love how Adam can take a simple thing as Oggie boggie and turn it into a chaotic masterpiece it’s wild and even I as an artist can’t ever make something like this great job bro! I love you posting this on Halloween it’s awesome!
Best surprise to see a post on Halloween!! 👻 Since we have basically combined Halloween and Christmas into Hallochristween....can we have a horror realistic Santa sometime?
Also, that glow in the dark clay is the tits!
This is perfect for The Nightmare Before Christmas. Since the movie is claymation it looks perfect and the glow in the dark is great for Oogie Boogie’s black light room.
Hey! I actually had the perfect person to share this video with for once! I never could get my ex interested in sculpting videos, but my bestie loves Boogie so I sent her the link before I even watched it myself. Another great one Adam.
I saw my local drugstore putting out the Christmas stuff at least two weeks ago...I stress vomited in my mouth a bit. While I do love getting everyone the perfect gifts and seeing their happy faces; wrapping, parties, and family business, or now the lack thereof, is incredibly stressful and causes so much more pain on a body that's already screaming for it all to stop...Everything from late November when the USA has Thanksgiving, through new years is just hell.
Whomever said that 30s are the new 20s obviously didn't have chronic pain, or age at all from what my normal friends tell me, lol.
completely unasked for advice but christmas was stressing me out a lot as well, especially since also like half my family is born in November. what really helped me calm it all down is looking for presents in august/september. taking the edge off and having one less thing (which is actually like 10 less things to do because i need to get 10 presents) really helped me a lot. my personal reasons why it helped me:
1. I have more than enough time to look around, i wont be stressed because i cant find a present for someone and i only have x days left
2. It wont have a Christmas theme which many of my family members prefer to having something Christmas themed
3. i wont have to pay extra just because its closer to Christmas and everyone raises the prices for the season.
4. i can bring up a present i bought in casual conversation if i am unsure if they'll like it or not. like "hey have you heard about author y? i had a friend recommend some of their books have you read them? what are your thoughts? which have you read which haven't you read?"
also I'm just not a very christmasy person. I'll enjoy the Christmas decoration my friends and family put up but the most Christmas decoration i put up myself is a little light that looks like a star and a bird feeder next to the window so birds can eat something.
i don't wanna say that these things will help you or claim that i understand the struggle of having chronic pain but just going easy on myself when i tended to get completely overwhelmed thanks to my adhd and lowering my expectations for myself really did help. i hope you find strategies that might allow the same for you! because now i can stroll through Christmas markets and shops in December and just look at stuff without having a big to get or to do list in the back of my mind constantly screaming
@@Kaimli Thanks. If my family would get their sh!t together that would be awesome, but before my sister excommunicated me last year, ironically for me asking her to do a better job of including my disabled father and myself, we couldn't get answers on when/what time things were happening often until the day before, and gift ideas were always, "Ohhh...uhhhmmmm...you know..." No. I don't know how to shop for two workaholic adults and a sweet kid once or twice a year when you never let me visit her, tell me not to buy toys, and expect two very childless adults to keep up with what a young girl would want. 🤦🏼♀️
But no, I'm the bad guy...I get it. 🙄 Being the family scapegoat is fuuun.
Might be my favourite sculpture you’ve made! Perfect chonky glowi bag of bugs!
That dirty look he has when he glows in the dark is phenomenal! Really well done man!
Updates by Adam are easily one of my favourite times of the week or whatever ❤
It is Monday, yet halloween...
He glow, look bloody awesome, as every sculpture you make.
I find it kind of crazy how this is just one creation of a clay oogie boogie, and yet the movie was stop motion. Makes me appreciate it a ton more.
This is one of my favorite sculptures you've done. Really impressed with your paint skills and how you managed to add the wormy dealies without making the body shape seem too convoluted. Extremely impressive
I'd love to see a rendition from you of Yellow Guy, Red Guy and Duck from Don't Hug Me I'm Scared!! I think you could make an amazing sculpture of them ^w^
Agree😊
Dont give him ideas.
yes!!
Honestly I think he would love the series, especially the show
What a perfect sculpt for the spookiest day of the year!
Oogie boogie looks great! I especially love how he glows in the dark. Watching Adam paint him made me crave a croissant though...
The phosphorescent(re-emits absorbed light) clay is so cool! I have opal that have the same property and honestly anything that can glow that ghostly green is just incredibly fascinating
unexpected upload but very much appreciated
The highlight of my spooky day
Both North of the Border and Midwinter Minis releases Oogie Boogie videos on the same day? Well that's just lovely.
It be sooo cool that if we where able to see a tour of all your projects just all huddled up.
I always love watching your videos
Omg I love this it’s so cool this is LITERALLY my favourite character from Nightmare before Christmas I have watched the movie like 5 times,it’s amazing!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN TOO 🎃
Awesome. Oogie Boogie was terrifying in concept. Imagine a serious horror movie with him chasing people around.
1:53 A Hershy's chocolate kiss!
Now we have Christmas, Halloween, Easter, and maybe Valentines Day all in one!
Happy Halloween Adam! Love the glow in the dark feature you included in this clay figure!
OOOH! I like this one. Nightmare Before Christmas will always have a place in my heart.
Can I expect you to make more characters in the future? Please…. 😁
Hiya folks, my name is Alix and I like to watch tiny nerdy videos.
Absolute masterpiece. Respect.
This might just be my favorite one yet. So simple yet so very detailed and accurate. Splendid!!
Bonus video!
How did you ever guess? Halloween is absolutely one of my favorite days of the last week of October 😱
Also, was working with some fluorescent and some glow in the dark paints lately myself, super ultra fun with a black light, will be experimenting many times in the future. (Painted a blue dragon mini - washed his neck scales with fluorescent blue so black light makes all the cracks of his neck scales glow - it's great!)
as a Oogie Boogie fan, you did him justice and you did him proper, thanks for not ruining my childhood again.
god the brown wash gives the glowing version such a grimy sort of texture, i absolutely love it!
Fantastic, simply amazing! Reminds me so much of seeing the stop-motion sculpt in person!
My son(9) and I watch every Friday night to see what new creation has been made. Having a bonus on Monday is a special treat. Especially because I was Oogie Boogie a few years ago for Halloween
That glow in the dark clay worked out well!
I need to bake my stuff more to lock things in place, that would make things so much easier. When I get more confidence :)
Halloween is actually my MOST FAVORITE HOLIDAY OF ALL TIME
lmao midwinter minis did a glow in the dark oogie boogie today too, cool to see how different styles and mediums approach this model
Just fantastic work. You are BREATHTAKING.
Beautiful! What a showcase of talent in both sculpting and editing! I like his big stitches, he looks like he's gonna come to life!
The glow in the dark really shows off the texture!
I love the glow scupty clay. Every time I see it I like buying lots of it. 😊
the slap of the layer of clay onto the sculpture was beautiful sounding. thanks adam.
the staining makes it way spookier thank you!
Hello Adam, just wanted to say I am starting to get into modeling myself after watching your videos, thank you for all the amazing content and for sparking my interest in this amazing art!
6:28 Adam holding Oogie Boogie's little hand is adorable
the glow in the dark version is amazing!
Love LOVE LOVE IT…. Excellent work squire. Happy hallochristmaween Adam ❤
Absolutely brilliant, I love this so much 😍
Oogie looks amazing!!!! 💚💚
I love your work because you have a "makeshift" type feel to everything you do (in a good way) and it gives it that personal touch. There are other channels that use 3d printers and fancy materials but they lack the personality that I love about your videos. Thanks man!
Oh! The glowing clay looks great! I didn't even know that existed. Very cool, and the recipe for the extra clear wash is good to know, thank you ^^
Heck yeah!! He turned out awesome!
Wormy dealies never gets old
So simple yet so amazing!
And very fitting with how much Christmas has started invading into Halloween's time.
Great creation, excited to see more.
this is so cool Nightmare before christmas is a favorite of mine.
I also LOVE glow in the dark clay. made a few clays out of it myself. i love how bright it gets.
love it, he looks so cool in the dark, much scarier than the daylight version , I think...well done
Love your wisdom, very refreshing.
That is everything i wanted in an oogie boogie sculpture. Looks like a sack and glows in the dark
OK that glow in the dark affect is amazing 👏
Blessed to be subbed to both North of the Border and Midwinter Minis and see two Oogie Boogies in one day!
amazing, absolutely amazing! i hope to see another nightmare before christmas creation next hallo-chrisma-ween.
OMG, I love Oogie Boogie. And he glows in the dark! Thanks for the extra video.
That’s uncannily good with the flow effect !
What a blessing, a spooky video in spoopy season
He’s amazing! Kudos!
He looks amazing!
This is really cool for you to do this
The only thing that could have made that more perfect was to fill him with BUGS! But what an absolute FANTASTIC sculpture. The texture is beautiful and I'm a huge fan of how you did the stitches to let them flow out naturally.
It looks so cool!
I love this and it looks so good glowing. Amazing 👏 x
Another Awesome Sculpt by Adam!!! I don't expect anything else!
Love the finger print in project - I use clay a lot and can tell little classic improfections that make it unique -
Looks great !
I am going as Oogie Boogie for Halloween, and this could not have been more perfectly timed. I love it.
Genius idea. Brilliant execution.
little advice, with this clay and others in this style, a few min in the refrigerator helps to firm it up a bit it also becomes less sticky
Monday video?? Yes please! Perfect way to brighten the start of any week! Love your content!
Oogie Boogie looks so cool and I like how he kind of looks like a big marshmallow from far away.😍
This is fantastic! I'm amazed with the details you give to each little piece. This is the best of Halloween character this year.
Unbelievable, Adam. Looks like your prosthetics are holding up. Your right hand has a bit of a glitch but we all know what that's from.
Awesome job sir🏴
Thanks for the bonus video, you made my day x
Nightmare Before Christmas is one of my favourite films and I even have Oogie Boogie tattoed on me, so I loved every second of this
oh man a realistic lock shock and barrel for christmas would be soooo cool
Idk how but your voice is so calming
omg I had no idea you posted two videos this week! clearly I don't check my notifications often enough
this was a great video! I love when you make models of simpler designs like Oogie, because imo it makes the attention to detail stand out even more. I really love how you did his rolls - they're always such a nice touch and they really made this particular project pop. and I'm amazed at how green the clay glows in the dark even under the wash! fantastic job, I love it
Every single one of these videos I've watched im so amazed with the end product!
I was sooo thrilled for this bonus video 🎃🎃🎃
