My favourite were the Predator Lethal Zones. They were perfect for me and really made me perform better than any other shoes that I've worn (Mercurial, Hypervenom, T90, Tiempo, F50 etc.)
In my opinion, none of the most recent boots should be on this list. They just do not come even close to the boots from back then...its sad..

No.1 was an absolute must, the copa mundial are probably the most iconic boots of all time. P.s. What about the Nike tiempo Ronaldinho 10r, the feel on that boot is amazing and fun fact of Ronaldinho himself requested the design for the boots
Haven't watched it yet but PUMA King should be no.1. Ibra, Cruyff, Maradona and Pele. Definitely the best

The boots were designed for Eusébio, but yeah ill put them in Nr 1 but The adidas 1970 copa mundial in México are classic too!

I think the Hypernvenom shouldn´t be in there, the Nike Total 90 Zoom II from 2002 was iconic imo. Tiempo should be higher in the ranking.

Anyone remember the kelme's that had the traction grips on the instep like the predators? Not the greatest cleat but I did like how they stitched the spike plate to the sole instead of gluing it. Made them last forever which was nice because I was having to get new cleats like every 6 months with glue

they missed out on many boots from the T90 series...the T90 Shoot, T90 CTR and the T90 Laser...but I think the best one from that time was the CTR and the Shoot.

i agree that formations it's rigid format showing where the players may play during the match, but doesn't reveal a lot of what the teams may do. For example, nowadays you see players that cover all the picth during the game (pogba, kimmich, hummels, messi).
i say nowadays because it's easier to talk about the current state of football than things that i don't even saw in my live (Pelle, Maradona, Eusebio). I never saw these brilliant players so i can't say that much.
My year 9 kickers turned me into Pele, Maradona, Cruyff, Zidane, Beckenbauer, Roberto Carlos, Cafu, Messi, Ronaldo, Schmichel and Xavi all at the same time.
I'm so happy the Copa Mundials were first.

Eh to each their own but I hated those cleats. They were so clunky and had such a weird feel. Especially compared to the 05-08 tiempo legends. Just my opinion

I'm an Adidas guy through & through, and for my money, the Predators are the go-to boot.
That model of the Zero gravity boot was released in 2006 not 2010
You should of put Hypervenom 2
your mistake was including the second generation hypervenom instead of the first. A boot so bad, Nike took the skin of the first generation boot and slapped it on the second after so many complaints. That's why the first few months of production hypervenom 2's have the rigid upper, and the latter versions have the golfball texture.

Dude i know the feeling. Not with predators, but with the 05-08 tiempo legends. The IV elites are decent but they've ruined the line after that and I can't find the old ones anywhere
i dont know if hypervenom or F50 should be there, i think T90 and Mercurial are more iconic than those two, these boots had breakthrough design, even Mercurial now like prototype of many boots nowadays. IMO

Copas are sturdy and durable. If you could only afford one pair of boots, then copa is the answer. Mine still intact after 20yrs. But i dont think for overall performance they are the best. But youl'll feel home and safe in copas.
