Module 3.0 allows you to clode the tailgate from the key fob or interior button.
Will fit Volvo XC70 or V70.
Module will operate only with cars equipped with power tailgate.
Module can be with or without beeper sound.
Simple installation that does not require disassembly of the tailgate.

Installed 3.0 on my 2016 V70 D4 SE LUX today.
Installed 2.4 modual on my Xc60. Great and easy to follow instructions. Works a treat. Wife still doesn't see the point though 😉

I just connected the previous module like this one.
I found an easier solution to get the tailgate to close with the remote. It's a Volvo CFE (Can Function Extender). You simply plug it in the OBD connector, there is no need to connect anything else. There are a lot of other features, but one is the ability to close the tailgate with the remote. Works like a charm!

Not sure if the 3.0 is any better than the 2.3, but mine stopped working and melted after a few years. Upon inspection, most pins appear to be missing solder entirely (never soldered), and the soldering job in general was quite poor. Workmanship on mine was apprentice-level quality. Again, perhaps the newer versions have improved, but if you have any older ones, I'd definitely encourage you to take a closer look at them if you have any electronics knowledge.
