- Leaving Walvisbay with a potential slow puncture, facing 400 km without civilisation.
We make it to Swartkopmund, but we decide not to take a gamble and stay over for the night. Luckily the next day we can start getting going again, the KTM 390 adventure tyre seems like it’s working!
The ride along the skeleton coast here in Namibia starts off perfectly. This moody coastline is well known for moody weather and high winds, but after some initial fog, the weather turn to bright blue skies, wind from behind and one of the best roads salt roads we have ever ridden. We pass several shipwrecks and discover how the locals selling souvenirs along this coastline actually live. We also visit the Cape Cross Seal Colony where we are at the perfect time to meet all the newborns. We planned to camp at the seal Colony, but its still early days and we heard that there might be a possibility to sleep at the entrance gate to Skeleton Coast National Park... We try our luck, but is there actually a camping site?

Thanks again guys.Amazing landscapes.
Glad you enjoyed it! This area is truly something special 😁
Thanks for posting another great video. Interesting country even if it appears barren in parts and having travellers like you bringing the beauty to us is a privilege. Thanks again
Thank you so much! Really appreciate your comment
Hey guys excellent video again, something special in your camera work. Enjoying these nothings. Oohhh and I see the subscribers is growing....mmmmm well done.
Thank you so much 😊 I am glad you’re enjoying it. Subscribers are indeed growing, slowly but steadily!
Why not, what a lekker trip for you guys. I'm sooo jealous and frustrated sitting at my desk in an office filled with 'UN' likeminded' people.
When the going gets 'roff', think of us plebs here. I will trade anyday. Enjoy the ride, the space and the glorious scenic views. No rush, be safe 👍👍👍
Thank you so much! We are well aware that we so lucky to be able to do this, we keep reminding ourselves. Sometimes it becomes our new normal because this is what we do everyday and you don’t really realise that this is special. So we need to keep reminding ourselves and we have people like you reminding us about it too 😊 we have been where you are now, behind a desk with people that have no interest in doing something.
Wow wow wow, the 2 of you are living the dream. Beautiful video, keep safe
Thank you bennie
When we did a trip on quads about 14 years ago through Namibia and The salt road was for us the greatest. Loved the place. Great video.
A trip on quads sounds like a real adventure! We love the salt roads and the nothingness, it’s a special kind of feeling
Aaaaah this was the day we met you at the first service station. 😀 was waiting on this episode.
Haha that was a bit of a long wait… sorry! Hope you doing well 😁
Awesome footage. Big well done to you both. Have loads of fun, safe travels. Looking forward to seeing your next adventures.
🌿💕🌍🦭
Thanks so much! 😊
I love Namibia, wish I was there too!!
Thank you 😊
Hi to the both of you 👋 great filming of your amazing adventure, I’m in the raining UK whilst you are in the hot sun shine, any chance of showing a bit more of your accommodation that you stay in so we get some idea of what we will be getting please 👌🏻🍺🍺😎
Thank you! We try to film our camping sites more, but our indoor rooms are normally not that interesting.. we sleep at the cheapest ones available and therefore it’s not much to show. But I understand it might be interesting to others! Will keep it in mind thank you 😊
Living the dream.❤
Thank you, we certainly are! We keep remembering each other that this is something we are very lucky with 😁👍🏻
Out of curiosity, what language were you speaking to the station attendant? Love your videos.
That was Afrikaans, in the southern part of Namibia most locals speak that language, same as in South Africa
