    Thank goodness you posted this video. Whoever wrote the written instructions did a great job, but a picture is worth a thousand words (and a video is worth a thousand pictures).

    My wheels arrived a day early. Got them installed in just a few minutes using these instructions. Thanks.

    Thank you for posting this. Coincidentally, this video was posted just a few hours after I received my 4-in-1 wheel in the mail, today!

    I just received my 4-in-1 Plus cbn wheel today and nothing in the instructions state to remove the guards. Thank goodness for this video.

    Thank you Ken, have 3 of your CBN wheels 80,180, 320, didn't understand the concentric washer mounting system until now; need to add one more for a 2nd grinder so I'm not swapping wheels of and on just trying to decide just which grit to put my order in, hope your enjoying SWAT even though my relatives live there it's too hot for me.

    I just purchased this high quality CBN wheel and trueing up washers from your company. I was surprised that you did not send a small packet of grease with the product.

    • @kiukle
      @kiukle Před 2 lety

      Including a small grease packet would definitely help eliminate the guess work of 'what kind of grease' is acceptable to use.

      @@kiukle K-Y was the only thing I had available. Seems to work great. CBN wheel working fine!

    What a wonderful concept. Would this work for the cheap wheels that come with the bench grinder? Also, is there any benefit to using these with a wire wheel. Sorry if these are dumb questions

      I have been told that the self-alignment spherical washers do in fact help stone wheels run better. I would think they would also for a wire wheel.

    First time setup question: At 7:45 into the video, you discuss a special machined washer to offset the wheel from the wheel guard, and say you don’t want the wheel hub to ride on the enlarged part of the shaft due to wobbling. This is not the same flat washer as the one in my spherical washer kit. But the machined washer is not supplied with the new wheel. I’m not using a guard, but don’t I need the washer anyway to prevent the wobble?

      I had the same question. Did you get an answer to yours? Do we have to get that machined washer to offset the wheel? Thanks

    • @davenarducci9410
      @davenarducci9410 Před 5 měsíci

      @@laxm8162 I don’t think I got an answer so I called them. I believe they told me I did not need the washer. The main issue was alignment of the wheel within the surrounding frames.

      @@davenarducci9410 thanks for replying. I called them and got a similar response too. They said the washer is not always necessary. It is needed only for those cases where the grinder shaft is worn or doesn't sit accurately. I am yet to install on my rikon 1/2 hp grinder. Hopefully it works without the washer, else I will just have to order it.

    No! just stop 6:34
    first of all, don't put a bonded cbn/diamond wheel on any grinder without a means of truing it.
    NO bonded wheel will run true, not matter how well you "center" it. you have to dress.
    hillbilly jim here ain't no tool maker, and you're better off researching wheel bonds, grit sizes, concentration, etc etc
