Well the Pittsburg game will really be the tale . Milton is a very good mobile option type extra running back QB . Hence he is a good wildcatter but you have to throw better than that to win in the SEC . The designed plays were great but unless Milton improves with that accuracy it will appear that what Michigan fans warned us about will be true .
He didn’t fit the Jim harbuagh style of offense.. I guy like Milton will thrive in josh huepel offense… Tennessee glory days came with a duel threat QB.. when they got away from that the game play change at the QB position. Tennessee kept it tradition… understand why Ga, Fl, bama , LSU, ole miss heck all the SEC is going that route. To beat Tennessee you need a duel threat Qb. For Tennessee to complete, they also need a duel threat QB.. not a Harrison Bailey… he doesn’t fit this style offense… but under Jim harbaugh he will thrive… this team under josh will surprise everyone… Go VOLS

I didn’t even know they played last night. What I’m see is a younger more energetic coach bringing a winning attitude back to Rocky top.. if Milton can continue to improve watch out… Phil Fulmer down years as head coach was bc of the talent he let get away from Tennessee… he held on to tradition .. the old guards had to be removed so that the new and younger leadership can start this new era of Tennessee football… some of the best talent out of Tennessee came straight from Knoxville. They played on teams like Vanderbilt, Memphis, GT… fulmer let a lot of talent get away… all I can say josh is the man for the job.. good ole Rockytop Tennessee
Trust me I know Peyton Manning got a lot of accolades for his accomplishment at UT but he could never win the big game that counts. Tee Martin comes in with no experience won National title, plus 2 SEC championship. Don’t get me wrong Peyton was a great QB, but some of that was bc of the talent he had around him… tee was dual talented and prove a lot of people wrong… Milton has all the talent to run josh offense, so does the young man that transferred from VT… college football has change from the 90s till now… Tennessee had to make the changes or be left behind again…
I know a lot about Tennessee Football. Been watch the Vols since the days of Andy Kelly at the QB… Vols hasn’t been the same since tee Martin… Fulmer went and got Erik ainge. The clausen brothers. Crompton!! Trying to find the next Peyton Manning and it didn’t work out.. Dual threat QB is what it’s gonna take to win game now… look at Clemson when they got Trevor Lawrence… I have always felt like Fulmer was trying to please the alumni, those with the money… those days are behind us and now it’s Josh turn…

Not here to be hateful but Milton did not even complete 50% of his passes vs Bowling Green? Not a good sign.
I tried to explain that to your fan base and yet they don't want to listen. They tried to throw in my face that UMass was able to pass for 170 yards. Mind UMass only had 65 yards passing in the first and only maybe 30 to 40 yards rushing. The UMass quarterback passed for more yardage than Tennessee did. Kenny Pickett completed over 70 to 80% of his passes and the Pitt Panther offense put up 600 yards a total offense only allowing 200 yards to UMass.
This was my first vols game in person it was a blast

Came in to see BG because UCLA plays them in the first game in 2022. BG is not a great team. Missed TN last year and now I know why. Hope they bounce back. They’re my favorite SEC team and I always liked playing them.
Even Saban's Alabama team lost to Louisiana Monroe in his first year. Takes time and mistakes to build a team..
