When he's not playing table tennis, he's traveling around the world touring with his music group selling out stadiums and headlining music festivals with the other half of his group called "Slander."

Yooo! Thanks Larry! My first episode superstar!
Holy that intro was amazing. Even more pumped LFG 😤
Hiroe! Hiroe! Hiroe! I love watching the content with her in it. Also, as always, amazing ASMR voice at the beginning Austin 😊
Haha. Just you wait until I get one of those fancy Shure SM7B microphones, I'm going to make babies sleep and grown men cry. 😀
good stuff! very cool 🏓
He has good form . Very good fundamentals. Austin, we need video of you in a lesson.
I really want to do them, but there are so many things that need to be done!
truely amazing coach
Thank you so much. Hiroe truly is amazing.
THANK YOU SO MUCH 😭🫶✨
Top coach!
A breath of fresh air, lots of table tennis enthusiasts on youtube ...yet we need professionalism coupled with engaging personalities for the sport to become more adopted. Keep sharing the love
Thank you so much for the thoughtful comment here. I'm really working hard to grow the Table Tennis community and I'm glad that you feel that this concept is fresh. ❤
Put together well....I like the camera cuts to whenever each person is speaking.
Thank you so much for noticing!
Very good video. Is there part 2? Thank you. 😊
Hello! Yes there will be a part 2 at thr very minimum. We still have his backhand training to release.
Nice coach
Thank you so much!
can i get hiroe imai's opinion on using the wrist on the forehand loop. For the longest time, I never used my wrist. With my current coach, he has incorporated the the wrist movement in my forehand loop. It has added speed and spin. And surprisingly my forehand loop is more stable and consistent.
The next time I am in LA, I will be glad to pay for some lessons with her. She has a good eye. I don't see how the coaches can feed the ball and still catch our mistakes.
I'm sure hiroe can explain more in detail, but my immediate thought is that the wrist is always used when trying to increase spin on a ball, so though it isn't always necessary, it's more often than not, helpful.
How would I contact Hiro for a lesson? It's be fun to get a lesson whenever I'm in the LA area
Instagram is the only way I reach out to her. That would be awesome if you reached out to her! Https://instagram.com/honeybluejack
I want to play with her. 🏓🤙🏾
Will she be at US Open? 🤩
The plan is to have her play the US Open.
Old people are too stiff to learn ping pong. Impossible. Coach with index finger extended to middle of paddle, not good.
Thanks for your input! Have you ever seen the movie "Kung Pow: Enter the Fist"? It's hilarious. You won't be disappointed.
Many people start TT late in life in the area around this club. I started at 50. My opinion is a 1700 rating is achievable for someone who starts late. Lot of fun playing at that level in local tournaments. Higher levels possible for some with good coaching and favorable circumstances. Great having a hobby that you like which keeps your joints moving when you get old.
