Here's the thing, the girls are not really trained to do such heavy lifting of matching upto kpop standards. They were fans and were roped in to become a so called kpop group by a company called Livon which makes hair care products, mind you. I dont even know what inspired this. But I read an article where the company was asked about this project and they pointed out that girls got their own kpop make-over, yeah Livon because that's the most important thing to form a kpop group and they also said and i quote "kpop is not just about music but also about looking fabulous and stylish"

Well same happened to me and they were really biased for North East Indians and they kinda got extra attention and time. I wasn't happy with the results and their scouting isn't good coz....Idk, these girls kinda sing average like others can sing. This is what I think is the problem: They're voice's are shaky and unclear 1. They dont really din't have control over the voice. 2. They all have strong voice wich would be more powerful in Alto 3. Also the producer just recorded their voices and put that into music and added a little Echo so it looked like he worked hard and get paid for it. 4. I think it would've been better if they choose another song maby Mamamoo (probably cause they have stronger vocals)?
As an Indian here, I agree. People like Z-Pop who have Indian members and SB19 deserve the attention these groups get. They are talented, respectful and DO NOT refer to themselves as K-pop Btw, Johnny, could you react to Z-Pop and SB19 next. Their vocals are amazing and I think you will adore that.

I am an Indian and I still agree they shouldn't call themselves them a kpop group because they haven't been trained like the kpop idols and still lack that singing and dancing talent but I'm still proud that people in my country actually know kpop.
As much as I love that Dreamcatcher is being acknowledged more, their songs are so powerful and they all have such strong vocals and talent that these girls shouldn't have tried to start their career with a piri cover. It's just not really a good choice to show of your talent when you're just starting. The mixers did these girls dirty but these girls weren't ready for Dreamcatcher.
I was thinking the same thing. A lot of DC songs, compared to the general kpop spectrum, are on the more difficult side and need a lot of proper technique to sing them right. Definitely not the best choice for a rookie band, especially when they’re not korean.

This is what I think is the problem:
They're voice's are shaky and unclear
1. They dont really din't have control over the voice.
2. They all have strong voice wich would be more powerful in Alto
3. Also the producer just recorded their voices and put that into music and added a little Echo so it looked like he worked hard and get paid for it.
4. I think it would've been better if they choose another song maby Mamamoo (probably cause they have stronger vocals)?
As an Indian here, I agree. People like Z-Pop who have Indian members and SB19 deserve the attention these groups get.

As much as I love that Dreamcatcher is being acknowledged more, their songs are so powerful and they all have such strong vocals and talent that these girls shouldn't have tried to start their career with a piri cover. It's just not really a good choice to show of your talent when you're just starting. The mixers did these girls dirty but these girls weren't ready for Dreamcatcher.
I was thinking the same thing. A lot of DC songs, compared to the general kpop spectrum, are on the more difficult side and need a lot of proper technique to sing them right. Definitely not the best choice for a rookie band, especially when they’re not korean.
