- In this review I'll be going over the Bose Soundsport Free wireless and some of it's great features. They aren't perfect but it's a good start for Bose in the completely wireless headphone arena.

Nice Review. I picked these up last week and agree with you on a lot about these buds. Here are some thoughts: I also have the Soundsport Wireless ( with wire). These are more comfortable because there is no wire tugging down.
Sound almost identical to the SSW's. Warm sounding, not fatiguing at all. Can be worn for long periods of time unlike in-ears that go into the ear canal. They fit in my ear a little different than the SSW's due to a slight difference in size and weight.
I find they have plenty off bass ( sometimes too much for indoor quiet listening) but it gets lost outdoors or at a noisy gym so the music sounds good with pretty good range for Bose.
Iv'd had a few connections issues/hiccups outside walking but not indoors or at the gym. The reason for that is that the bluetooth does better indoors where there are a lot of hard surfaces for the signal to bounce off of. ( like gym equipment etc) but outdoors the signal just goes into the air so keep your phone close by.
Bottom line: If you liked the Soundsport Wireless there's not much here not to like. Almost hard to go back to the wire around the neck now.

do the soundsport wireless also suffer from the same issue of latency as these in videos?

I totally agree with your review. I had the regular wireless soundsport headsets and loved everything about them until the rubber around the volume buttons on the wireless came apart in less than a year of having them. I replaced them with the beats 3 and hated them! Now that bose has the truly wireless earbuds I ran to get bose back and they are as amazing as they were before and I don't have to worry about wire issues!

I have these, and on the You Tube app, there is a second or so of audio lag with the video. From what I can gather, other video apps don't all suffer the same issue.
If you watch You Tube video through Safari, there is no lag. The lips and dialogue are perfectly in sync. So the issue with the audio lag, lies with the app in my opinion.
Love the sound from these. So full and detailed. I use these out of the gym to. They are not just a "gym" earphone.
$250 is pretty steep. I know we’re paying a bit extra for Bose’s sound signature as well as full wireless. But the few cons aren’t really justifying the price. It’s $100 more than the AirPods, and it doesn’t deliver too much to the table.
If Bose had implemented Apple’s W1 chip, then that would be great, for seamless pairing. As well as an increase in the battery life for the case, since the AirPods case can deliver 24 hours on a single charge.
I think I’ll wait till the second generation of the Soundsport Free.

We know truly wireless headphones are subject to some latency between audio and video, but the feedback we’ve received suggests the product isn’t performing how we expected. Weeks ago I was set on getting these. I couldn’t wait and got the Jaybird Runs. Great sound but I was so disappointed on the connectivity. I picked up the AirPods and haven’t been more satisfied, I have the Soundsports and think I’ll stick with them. Honestly after having the AirPods, nothing really compares to them. Their sound isn’t the deepest but it’s acceptable for all of the other features they offer. Which no one, even Bose has come close to. It’ll wait for the next gen of Bose and hope for some improvement that will rival the AirPods. Great review!

Please I need ur honesty are these louder than the Soundsport wireless because I really loved the way they sounded but they just wasn’t loud enough so I got the beats x and I’m missing the clarity of the Bose!
Joseph Davenport they are very similar to the bose soundsport wireless. Unless my ears are playing tricks on me they do get louder in my opinion. One trick I have with bose is to go up one size bigger than you think you in the wings because of the design sits more on the outside of your ear canal it'll decrease the chances of outside noise coming in and ruining your music. Do these work one at a time like the AirPods? I’m wondering since I use the AirPods a lot for podcasts. Charge one while using one.
Jason Gonzales Hey Jason! So if you are charging the right you can't use the left but If you charge the left you can still use the right one. Not as good as the airpods in the connection area just yet I think companies still have to catch up to Apple in that regard. Thanks for watching!
The volume controls are hard to depress. Bose could have made them softer. Bose outlets sell them for $149 refurbished.
Great review dude. Love this channel. I ended up returning these Bose cuz they just stick out too much and the other day my wife went to kiss me on my cheek and the left earbud fell out. Gonna try the new Sony WF 1000x wireless headphones when they come in the mail. Hope you do a review on those soon! Keep up the great work!

The bragii dash pro are a popular wireless headphone and they also make customs as well. But get over looked.

I have been using BOSE headphones in gym for time.. and I will tell u these are the best in sound and sweat proof
I've had 2 separate pairs now. Both pairs had issues with dropping out during workout.
I still like my Soundsport Wireless way better than my X3s for sports -these look excellent - I love my Airpods, but I never use them for sports or when it’s really hot outside - I’d definitely use this latest version anywhere and and all the the time especially since you can hear your surroundings if the volume isn’t too high - the Jabra Elite Sport are excellent but getting the right fit is near impossible, I found some tips that work, but then I have to remove thetips to get the charging case to close - the only cons with this version of the Bose seems to be the cost and how much they stick out of your ears - thanks for another great review
Thanks korling! I love my airpods but they are almost unusable in the gym. The cost on these suck to be honest lol but I'm loving not having that cord at the gym now I never have to readjust these. I found the fit of the Jabras to be the same and they get uncomfortable after a short period of time as well.
This is Bose's first try at full wireless, wait until 2nd gen for them to smooth out the cracks
But, have You tried the Motorola VerveOnes+ Wireless waterless EarBuds. No Ear wings? Great sound and sealing of your ears with the gels. I listen too Hip-Hop, R&B, Soul and Jazz music. I love my Bass and Voices from them and clear phone calls and recording of them...
video lag quality is unexceptionable for the price. any way these can get a firmware update?
Hey are the jaybird runs loud like the x3s because I had the x3s before and loved the sound of them but they wouldn’t stay fit in my ears so that’s when I bought the SoundSport wireless loved the sound of them but they wasn’t loud enough so now I’m really thinking of trying the runs instead of waiting for the new Bose SoundSport Free to be released I can get the jaybird run today!!
Great review, but I had a much different experience with the headphones; Connectivity was a HUGE issue, without a strong connection the speaker cuts sound to the right speaker while the left falls silent, then resumes in both speakers (repeatedly).. most annoying thing especially when you're working out. From home they were great, outside of my house was another story. I would suggest reviewing these from a gym perspective/outside because thats what these are designed for. My experience was not good at the gym, however I purchased a second pair of wireless headphones and the same issues were there, music cuts out and skips around. I'm going on a limb and going to say the local PF has some interference and I will test them at another gym and see if the issue continues. As you've mentioned the sound delay for video is also a make/break issue for some. I personally don't have any trouble as I use these for lifting only. Another reviewer says you can disconnect one speaker by putting it in the case and then the delay stops however thats really annoying to do just to watch video.
Mitch H thanks mitch I actually did try these out in the gym during peak hours. I wouldn't recommend them otherwise because I had the same issues you're having but with the jaybird runs so I made sure these things worked in a busy environment and they were solid for me. What kind of device are you connecting to? Do you have the bose connect app installed?
BTunPlugged I have a s8, and the Bose software, everything is updated too. I mean that's the deal breaker for me as I bought them intended for the gym but I'm going to try a different gym today and see what happens. I also bought the falkns which I'll test
Mitch H ah okay I'm using a iPhone 7 plus. I have a galaxy s7 though so let me do some more testing to see if there is a big difference between the 2. Thanks for letting me know your experience I might make a follow up video on the connectivity.
And you did have connectivity issues in the gym? I'm assuming the new Oreo release for Android might help but who knows

This is worthy than JAYBIRD RUN. Its not look minimalist but the connectivity,Comfort and sounds are dominating the other brands of true wireless. one thing that i dont like is the finished of the charging case and a lil bit bulky but for the price i think its a lil bit expensive!
Compare these against Samsung upcoming IconX please.

The Samsung Icon x 2018’s are amazing. Way better than the last model they had and better than any other true wireless earbuds I’ve heard. Which kinda sucks for me because I’m an Apple fan but I had to get them. Try them out for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.

I'm a bit leary of these completely wireless earbuds. Don't they communicate with each other wirelessly? If so, that would mean that you are pulsing cancer causing entities to go right through the middle f your head!
