I’m American and I visited all US states by the time I was 25, starting in PA and ending in SD. My favorites are Alaska and New York. ❤ Now, I’m on a mission to explore the rest of the world!! Also many smaller cities have hostels, too, btw! Amtrak is also great, for certain regions!
It's impressive to hear so much info about such enormous and diverse country! The one point missing from the customs segment is tipping... This is probably one of the most baffling and complicated customs for foreigners.
Just look at the tax and double that if it's just a little worse than average. If the tax is $5:50 give the lazy person $11:00. I think it's stupid too. Lazy people shouldn't get rewarded. Add a couple of dollars for average and go from there. Some states don't have food tax. I pay 10%.
@@rabbidcow2135 What makes them lazy?
@@touchmyroses6308 If the server is on the phone or just standing around and not taking care of there customers then that's lazy. Just common sense. If they are doing the job but nothing else that is average. If they go above and beyond tip high. Pretty simple.
I already live in the US but I gotta give props, This was a very thorough and informative video.
As a German who gets anxiety navigating US small talk practices, it’s hilarious to hear Americans described as „direct“ and „to the point“ 😂
As a Bosnian who lives in US I can confirm your sentiment, Americans are most definitely not direct lol
I've watched a lot of videos about other countries it's interesting to watch a travel guide about your own country. I've visited about 20/50 states, seeing the cities is fun but I got to say road trips are the best and the national parks people got to at least visit a few of them when visiting.
Love your videos ❤️ Keep bringing these please 🙏 Cheers from Portugal 🤗🇵🇹
Lexie, nice travel guide! The nature in the U.S. is so diverse and beautiful! You should definitely go up to Alaska if you haven’t yet.
So glad you continued with your travel guide series. Love it! 😊 So excited for the other countries 🥳
Hi Lexie.. Thx for the info..I used to live in the USA almost 20 years ago... Yeah, I lived in Kansas... Traveled from KS to CA.. Really an Unforgettable experience.. Thinking to visit the USA again

Have been to California, Nevada, Arizona and Utah in 2017. Then NYC for Christmas in 2018 and on Friday we're going to FL... I'm so excited! Would love to visit every state one day 😊
I was born and raised in Los Angeles and lived in Northern Cal, 3 states in the Midwest, NYC and now Boston. I can tell you, you must visit New England. It’s my favorite place I’ve ever lived
Very interesting video! 👏👏👏
Love your videos ♥️🍃
I actually went to college in Miami. I actually didn't like the climate, but it seems like you do so I think you'll like life by the beach. I did swim there.
My favorite CZcams channel and my favorite CZcamsr. I love you from the bottom of my heart ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.
I'm from USA and the only sport I bother watching is Soccer. USA truly does have a lot to offer with 50 states, tons to do and see. I loved Hawaii and Florida too, but I would recommend Texas as well.
Really good, sister. This good news
Would add:
- famous live music cities like Austin and Nashville
-Wine regions Napa valley, Sonoma, the Finger Lakes etc.
- You mentioned sports, but generally going to professional sports games / tailgating (or college football games in the South)
- Other parts of the Southwest like Santa Fe, White Sands
- Northeast beaches like Montauk, Cape Cod, etc.
- Outer boroughs of NYC like Brooklyn and Queens
- Southern coastal cities like Charleston, Savannah, the Outer Banks, NC
- Smoky Mountains / Asheville, NC
- San Diego, Palm Springs
Thank you so much veryinformative vedio😊
Good explained Video. nice clear us accent. Brgrds from Germany
If visiting FL for Miami or Disney World, I recommend visiting some gorgeous fresh water springs. A very underrated FL activity that is within driving distance of most FL hotspots :)
very awesome eiting!
You need to visit Minnesota for stunning nature!
Wow! Can't believe I've seen more of the USA than you!! But I get it...there's always an allure towards places you're not from, the unfamiliar. I'm from Australia and have seen more of the US than I have of my own country 🤣 Just adding to your point about culture...the tipping culture is a big thing that's not common in other countries and a good one for people to know. I've been living in the US 5 years and still get stressed about it!
Awesome video! The United States is such a great place to visit. I especially agree with you that a road trip in the US is a must! I've done several road trips around the US including one out to Colorado, Utah, and Arizona as well as one over in New England. Some other great areas to visit include the Upper Midwest including Michigan as well as the southern US like Texas, Alabama, and Tennessee.
Hi
I have been to the US but only twice in 1989 and 2014. The second time was my first solo holiday to WDW. I travelled on an ESTA as at that time the UK was still in the European Union
wow love u lexie
You should travel to Northern Michigan if you haven’t done so already.
Travelling tips terima kasih atas informasinya.
great video! Loved watching it! May I also suggest a money related tip for US. ATMs in US all have different fees and withdrawal limits for foreign card holders - some have $2 fees and some as high as $5 for a single withdrawal. I used the ATM Fee Saver mobile app - it gave a list of ATMs in US with their fees and withdrawal limits. Was quite a life saviour to find those lower fee ATMs, never seen anything like this before, worth adding to your list, it will help a lot of international travellers!
Bienvenido a Miami! Yo he vivido aqui mi vida entera!
good luck for us
I watched this video, while eating my avocado toast and I took it personally. Haha! 😂😅
There is a lot of good advice here but I gotta say after living 14 years in the US Americans are everything but direct. I cannot get a straight answer out of people, Americans are very polite no doubt but direct definitely not.
Also I personally suggest everyone to travel rather in off seasons when the crowds are not driving the prices up even more. Otherwise thanks for the video Lexie.
Cool
Super
I love America! And I plan to visit it again soon! 😁 I was just curious, but between the two countries that border America, how come most of the attention with the media, etc. Is more focused on the Southern border vs. the Northern border? 🤷
I luv US because of its hip-hop rnb music industry.
W series
Longer vlogs please !
I love my country 🇺🇲
✅
Can u help me to go to usa ?
This is very gud , it will be better if you actually go to the places for tourism and depict those in details like the schedule, drive , acco etc.
Just a curious question. When will visit North Carolina and the Blue Ridge Mountains? 🤔🗽🦅🇺🇲
So ❤️ amazing 🤍 vlog 💯 ❤️ 🤾♂️🤍🎯🤸♂️🏌♀️🙂💐
I love USA 🇺🇸
I love usa 🇺🇸 ❤️
💓💓💓
i'd move to the US just for you
Washington DC 😮💨✅
As a French traveler loving the US, I have to disagree about New Orleans. I went recently, as it was part of our honeymoon and we were really disappointed. The city is dirty, poor and even during the day you have people high on drugs. Not to mention Bourbon street at night, super loud and awful. It was good for 3 days not more. Loved the architecture and food though, as well as swamp tours and plantations outside NOLA. I personally think there are plenty other US cities that worth it 😊
By the way , I love this new series of videos !
Bonjour !
Welcome to Algeria 📍🇩🇿
If you are not from the U.S. - like everyone who is visiting the U.S. - there's a 99.9% chance that you have no idea how to handle Fahrenheit. So I dont have any idea how cold or warm the weather is XD
beside that great guide like allways.
Hello from Algerien people i wana to travel in america its beautiful country👑❤⭐💯✌🏻🌍🔥💪🏻
Student debt..? Why is that? Is it worth it and why does government neglect the issue?
Cant leave out Uber/Lyft etc are going to break your bank account in 3 days 😂
For those who like mountains or beaches, come to North Carolina, we have both. Not to mention, we also have the best barbecue.
❤❤

o
Hay im from indonesia
Surganya travel ada di INDONESIA
Hawaii is my favorite
You missed Bush, Illinois. One of the most exciting cities we have to offer.
You can watch a hazy sunset through one of the many vast swaths of cornfields, tie one on with the suspicious inbred locals at one of the 4 bars (3 tooth minimum), or sit back and watch one of the 20 meth houses get raided by local police.
Can I get a ❤️ please
:)
Can u send me a sponsor latter to get usa tourist visa?
Yo prefiero Korea🇰🇷 y Japon🇯🇵
I know Very much latin American, that intend to travel to USA, but worried about with xenofoby history concerning aliens in determined American countries.
Being born and raised in the US I would say we are anything but direct I know to many people who take to long to get to the point. I'd also say depending where you go and how you look Americans can unfortunately be major a holes.
No slack on the amount of work you put in this video but you made a whole video in english and were like "If you are a beginner in English" and the level of beginner was supposed to be the beginner that does not know phrases like "Where is the bathroom?" or "How are you?"💀
I just found this funny. Great work though!
Forgive plz 🙏for offense(s)
American is the most popular visiting country in the world
One question: can I use my drone to fly around national parks? I would like to make some travel vlog for my channel.
@@ariffnordin4481 I think it’s pretty difficult to do. Most parks say no unless you have a FAA permit
@@ariffnordin4481 I'm pretty sure you can't fly a drone in any national park, but a lot of national parks have national forests outside of them that have much more lenient rules so you could research those and see if you can fly one there.
❌Dot your i’s & cross your t’s here.
What Americans like to do more than anything is SUE, SUE, SUE🤪!!!
Believe Jesus Christ. Be repent. Heaven and hell exist.
What is the name of your boyfriend?
I bet more Americans speak Spanish than English.
No.
@@res3382 Americans yes
US Americans no
Don't forgot that that Americans include all people on the two Continents.
Russia is developing a new type of military operations using nuclear weapons to protect against possible aggression from the United States.
Go away.
I was missing You, I love You 😘
