- Mat’s got his hands on the all-new almighty Hennessy Velociraptor 6x6… And he’s about to find out what it’s like to live with as a daily driver!
He’s going to start off with a standard review of the car, and then he’s going to take it out on the road to find out what this car is like to live with over in the States!
So let’s take a closer look at this mega machine. On the outside, there’s no denying it’s superimposing, being both 7-foot tall and 7-foot wide! Up front, it’s sporting a huge steel push bar bumper and a light kit, while it’s also coated in Raptor R badges across the bonnet and side. That’s no surprise, of course, given this pick-up is basically based on the F150 Raptor R. But of course, there’s one exception - the load bed has been extended, and it’s now sporting six tyres!
Step inside and the fact that this pick-up is effectively an extended Raptor R is clear to see, given the interior is pretty much exactly the same! This means it comes with a sports steering wheel, red stitching across the cabin, along with paddle shifters and Recaro sport seats. It’s also been fitted with the carbon fibre trim, so you’ll find a smattering of that throughout the interior.
Under the bonnet you’ll find the same engine as in that Raptor R, which means you’ll be treated to a glorious 5.2-litre supercharged V8 that can produce 710hp and 840Nm of torque. Don’t expect it to hit the same 0-60mph & 1/4-mile time of the standard Raptor R, mind, given it tips the scales at 3,500kg!
But it’s not just packing a hefty weight, it comes with an equally large price tag, too, costing $450,000!! So is it worth it? You’ll need to stick with Mat and see for yourself! - Auta a dopravní prostředky

As a Brit living in the States this was so funny!, Sarcasim was a breath of fresh air and so funny! Telling the locals the truck was made in UK, them actually thinking he might be serious and then asked 'where are you going' and his response back to England as the cars are too small here. Priceless!!
I thought he was a bit of a dbag to be honest. I've noticed he is being a dbag to more people as of late. Maybe the success is going to his head a bit too much.

I was bored. Nobody in the states gives two fks about a six wheel truck. And Mat more or less gave the exact same review as the Dodge in the UK. Though I already knew that was how it was going to go before I hit play. Make fun of size. Do a couple of idiotic skits. Make fun of size again. Go through a drive through. Make fun of size some more. End the review.

Seems ridiculous amount of money for what it is. Extended the bed and added a a diff... uses all stock suspension. Also this truck looks ridiculously stupid. Stock brakes as well...

It's quite uncommon overseas to go to a car wash and wash your own car. At least here in South Africa. Here there are staff that wash your car at such places. Obviously it costs a lot more than $2, but if you wanted to wash your own car you could do that as well.

That’s what I was thinking. Of course all the custom stuff is pretty unique but they didn’t make any changes except for behind the cab. Didn’t even add any performance related stuff.

Not a flat plane V8, the 5.2 in the Raptor R is based off the Predator 5.2 out if the GT500 which is a cross plane. The Voodoo in the GT350 was a 5.2 flat plane-ish

This would be a great farm truck. 8ft bed, nearly impossible to get stuck, tons of power. I assume the payload would be higher too.
Just as a note ... the 5.2l Predator Engine (or Carnivore in the Raptor R) does not have a Flat-Plane Crank only the 5.2l Voodoo from the Mustang GT 350 does

With the stock suspension, this must be bouncy. Because you don't add much wait, but do add an extra suspension part.
What if Hennessey Mammoth also has 6 speed gearbox and fully customised racing suspension?
You can tune the factory suspension anyway so no issues probably
My question is how do you get it around any kind of corner? Do you treat it like a semi and overshoot the turn? Can you get rear steering?

The bounciness is because of the tires on it. I bought the new 2022 tundra and changed the tires to one those off road tires and it completely changed the drive.
