Stuff like this is my preferred style of gameplay. One game as the vdv I put my force in the back line but it was a early version so it got mopped up easier than Iâd like. Whenever I get frontier I always pressure that back flank point. It taught me inf is stronger than I thought in ambushes. But it hurts when say the US doesnât have a decent enough tank cannon for long range engagements cause the ATGM vehicles struggle at engaging them in mass. Which Iâve started to switch to heli support and it works decent but that means hurting airlifts. It is nice that VDV inf get their own heli to carry them in. I wish I could hunt recon easier some of those squads might as well have a box in a box warehouse. Your not finding them. Be nice if the UAVs could be used to fill this roll of back line hunting
4 VDV Metis in Igla-armed heli is nuts as an opener, even in a more orthodox deck
Honestly, forcon should have some LAVs as it opens up decent fire support against Russian IFVs and infantry, and gives a second smoke to help push/retreat. Also theyâre quick enough to get behind most enemy lines and put 25mm into the juicy artillery and AA units. But the rest I agree with mostly. LAV is just too useful to not have at all in a light infantry force
its too bad the osprey isnt modeled as taking less supplies when you equip the minigun package as this would be true to life, unless im mistaken about the game mechanic. i love that the UH1Y is in there cause thats what i crewed in the marines. does this mean im getting old? probably.

With this setup, you are not only dependent on your teammates to deliver fighter protection but also, SEAD capabilities and time it right (impossible at random unfortunately). Also, I personally would switch out a couple of Mariens for 2-3 Stinger teams to ambush enemy Helos.
i really do wish this game was better. they probably wont fix it by release but fingers crossed
open beta was made to fix such server issues, so we're doing our job stressing server and finding bugs
what about the matchmaker? not being able to choose your faction in a game lobby is pretty annoying. also will there be more modes than just 5v5?@@user-pe8yi9uh7d
