I’ve been watching this video every day since the war began last week. Hope is in such short supply, but this video gives me hope that these young people will somehow transcend and overcome the perpetual cycle of hate.
May peace spring from the hearts of our young people and last 1000 years.

I live in Jerusalem and I have a bunch of friends who are in this chorus group. I've been waiting for this video ever since they told me that they were doing it. You did not disappoint. This is beautiful. Absolutely stunning. I love the beginning and the harmonies and the shots of Jerusalem. It makes me proud to be a part of this society and culture. :)

Thank you Sam Tsui for making this video. At the current time, so many Israelis, Jews, Palestinians and Muslims are hurting-- and a lot of us find this video incredibly meaningful. As a progressive rabbinical student living in West Jerusalem, I too hope that home and safety are found for Israel and Palestine in the near future. Home is such an important concept, and you prove that here.
Sam Tsui, you ROCK. Your song/video with the YMCA Jerusalem Choir is AWSOME. excellent message,that Is Israel and Palestin can coexist. Especially with the youth working together. peace over war can be achieved. I went to both Palestine and Israel last year and though I was nothing more than just another tourist, "living" this separation for a few days deeply touched my heart.
I can no longer watch the conflict and not feel the pain on both sides of this wall, of this war.

Crusader pinheads (really, how much good can one say about anyone who kills in the name of their "peaceful" god) come take the best parts of the Holy Land. Mamluk pinheads take the Holy Land from the Crusaders, Ottoman pinheads soon take it from Mamluk pinheads. The arrogant idiocy of World War I places the Holy Land in the hands of the British as the British Mandate of Palestine. Following the atrocity of the Holocaust, the U.N. creates a partitioned Palestine, divided roughly half and half between a new Israeli state and Arab an Arab state. Arab pinheads cause or start one war after another, leading to Israel seizing much of the Arab state (like, duh). Sheesh, I should just copy this and paste it over and over again...
