Sur Ron ships them street legal and safe to avoid law suits. You do cut that wire to make the bike go as designed. The early models you connected 2 wires. New models you cut the loop. 49 mph and more torque after cut. It is designed this way.
I bought the surron 2023 light bee road legal. I can't find the green loop wire. Jus one green wire connected to the female plug connector along with the other colored wires

Edit: to clarify, the fact that it's this easy to unlock more power from the device suggests that it was intentionally designed this way so that they could sell a sandbagged device without having to deal with potential legal obstacles.

The new 2023s don’t need to cut the wire anymore, came unlocked which is why I believe they now added the new Warning sticker on the batter cover

What would it be for a 2019 I don’t seem to have a green/black looped wire only green.
I just watched someone click the front break lever 5 times and that aparantely unlocks the bike as well as cutting the green wire. Perhaps that was a something that they programmed in down the road.. but for consistency kept the green wire which im sure helped avoid concussion

Ion the 2023 Surron you can program it with your brakes. Turn on 5 short press one long wirh your right( front) brake

I did this wrong and cut the solid green wire... not sure what it was but he bike still works. I think it was the ground wire for the bike? my question is.. If I never reconnect the solid green wire, what could possibly go wrong on the bike?

Here we go. Clip...warranty voided. It is for legal reasons. Going over a certain MPH on a e bike/dirt bike without proper drivers license or registration is illegal. To by pass all this, limiters are installed. So, fyi, if you get caught on this bike, going that fast, you'll get a ticket, and fines.

@@dexgray4581 Class 1-2 are meant for sidewalks and Sides of the road. Class 3 is a motorcycle/Moped by law in my state and you need a license too unlike with Class 1-2
I many states limited to 22mph it is technically a power assisted bicycle/moped which is road legal (this is even true of a lot of gas powered scooters). Once the limitations are removed it is not allowed on any public roads in any state IIRC. In some states it isn't a moped with direct throttle and no pedals. YMMV.

Guys don’t clip the wire just do the front brake hack . It easily cuts the battery usage in half. Totally not worth it to clip the wire. Now if u wanna use the hack then it’s all worth it because u can turn it on and off.
