I'm also sold to the idea of outward folding screen for this size of foldable. When unfolded it feels like any current sized smartphone but can go big when needed ...that's what I like about it. On the contrary for flip 3, it is rightfully designed to be inward folding. I've been using the flip for 2 years and it's what made me a believer of folding screen's durability. Xs 2 is expensive for sure but I like the design so much that for me it's worth it. It's really not as bad as people are making it out to be. They don't have google services up front but you can easily download them (legally too.) I recently used a Huawei device and you'll still find it very familiar.
These things are going to returned en masse. The last model had massive durability issues. Living in Shanghai people were constantly taking them back to huawei demanding refunds and getting them repaired. The screen is a soft flexible plastic and the display is an AMOLED. Even a small amount of point pressure can kill one pixel or an entire line of pixels. What does that mean? If this is in your pocket and you bump into the edge of a table, your phone is now broken. And unlike the samsung design, where the screen is protected, and even if it does get broken the outer screen ensures the phone remains functional, this will be entirely broken if you damage the screen. It's a horrid design. Even putting it in your pocket runs the risk of seriously damaging the phone. Saw one guy who had destroyed his because a piece of metal on his jeans rubbed across the screen while he took it out of his pocket. The samsung design has inherent redundancy, break one screen and you still have another. That alone makes it far superior in my opinion. That and the spen support.
As a Z fold 3 owner I really can't see this outward fold thing catching on. 90% of the reason I got a fold is because I know that in the event that my inner screen gets damaged, I have a perfectly good flagship phone on the front. Foldable or scroll phones are the best phones right now in terms of specs and form factor if you can afford it and for being one of the newest tech gadgets around right now it isnt really that out of league in term of price either. This kind of phone biggest draw is it can be use as a phone or a mini tablet and it's CPU chip is often the strongest flagship level category. Meaning whether you use it as a smartphone or tablet it is powerful enough to function in both roles. Especially good for entertainment, movie watching, light office work and emulation.
Not camera though , except huawei
I like the foldable but all of them have squarish aspect ratio,I like if it wider
Foldables certainly aren't the best in terms of specs. In most of them you sacrifice a lot of specs for the sake of a plastic screen and a hinge
I made it simple for potential consumers here. If you have between 2000-2500usd and you want a flagship smartphone and tablet you can buy a foldable phone instead. You can even buy a last season foldable too and that will cost you below 2000usd. For those without such needs or want phone with a different form factor they can consider other viable options and alternatives.
@@anglo-saxonconnor817 nah foldable phones are useless currently, infact their cameras are inferior to the real flagships like thes21 ultra or p50 pro
Then you forgot that it is folded outward.
Well I must say, I miss her 🙁
I'm not particularly interested in foldables in the first place but if I did buy one it would never be one with a flimsy plastic screen wrapped around the outside of the phone
where was this picture taken " народна библиотека" ? it's Serbian, my language ....
This is my dream phone but its 99,999₽
I'm afraid it doesn't matter to me how good the phone is in any way, I'm not buying any phone from China right now.
They’ll use this phone to spy on you and gather data for their idiot leaders
No google = privacy and performance
I could've bought it but $2,500 is a lil steep. Then again I don't care. I would still buy if I was rich. I would've definitely bought if I knew it was out the same year my lawyer got me back $13,000
