the internet basically has short-term memory. And I think our guilty pleasure is watching content like this, we may think oh its cringe, what are they doing but secretly, we enjoy watching some content be it for reasons such as, oh my life isnt going well but atleast im better than them or somebody who needs drama in their life, and us Indians, have a great appreciation for drama. At the end of the day, people dont like everything, they see a viral clip, laugh about it then just forget about it, but the content creator wishes to experience the fame again, so they continue going down that spiral of making cringier and cringier content. Its just a way to make people start talking about them again. Well after all, it's us only, the audience who promotes these things, but then lose interest and just forget about it once a new trend comes along.

i am really happy how non nonsensical my social media consumption is. every single time i watch a video on YT i make sure its atleast 20 mins to enable my attention span. i havent watched a single reel of these people you mentioned, i didnt even know that chaiwala had something to do with bill gates. but honestly i know how so many people waste their time and energy over consuming such useless content and thats the reason that triggers some people to get viral by doing anything in their capacity. also vedant i am very miser while subscribing channels but i am glad i did yours.

I disagree !! He was never a creator, he was always a music producer. I knew him from before he got viral, he always produced well. If you look at his collaborations and brand deals, he is actually doing pretty well. He is someone who is well known and respected in the music fraternity.

The problem is... Repetitive content.
Simple example... We all are watching movies and love some stars and become fan for them.
But what if they make same category and type of movies then we loose interest on them.
So, the simple terms... Viral content name its self is viral. So its short time fun.
If any youtuber needs popularity they need to concentrate on content, quality of presentation, and ongoing changes in the world and people mindset.
No matters what ever career we choose, constant learning is required to run along with this world.
i think it's the audience quality that matters more than content regulation .
the quality can be anything subjective , different for you , different for me .
we actually cant frame things and set things as cringe or non cringe , things depend on person , his need and purpose to watch , knowledge or timepass you never know .

Puneet will probably crack the system because he doesn't play a character, he is the character. He has been doing his own thing even before he was popular and he still does the same shenanigans even now, just look at his vids. He will probably end up in films as a small comic character. Even if he falls off which is very unlikely, he will still do these same things, thus retaining his core audience.
