I agree with everything in this video apart from ibn Qayyim’s opinion on the Khilafah of Hussain. It is true he wished for the title of Khalifah. But it was his due right and he deserved it over the tyrant Yazid. I am a Sunni and am saying this honestly. Allah knows best.
What will you do, if u see a thorn or a broken glass while you walk, you will move it to a place where it wouldn't hurt. If i ask my brother who was was walking with me for the thick cloth in his hand to complete the task. It would be me asking for the task and not my personal need.

Hazrat Hosain was against the caliphate of Yazid and he wanted them to honour the contract that the caliphate will pass to Hosain. He fraught because Yazid rulee was corrupt. Yasir Qadhi was right. Hazrat Hosain wanted Caliphate for sake of persevering Islam, not for his own gain.

Syaikh explained in the video that we should not pray for this. Instead we should seek Allah's refuge from being alive at this time of fitna.

The finah during his time is extreme. We wouldnt want to be around when Dajjal is here. We pray every day to save us from the fitnah of Dajjal during salah.

Reference for name: "Hazrat Mahdi's (as) name will be compatible with that of our Prophet (saas), but it will not be identical to that of our Prophet (saas)"
The hadith of our Prophet (saas) state that Hazrat Mahdi’s (as) name will be compatible with that of our Prophet (saas) and that Hazrat Mahdi’s (as) father’s name will be compatible with that of the father of the Prophet (saas).
According to Abu Dawud and Tirmidhi’s accounts from Ibn Masud, Rasulullah (saas) said: "His name will be compatible with mine, and his father’s name with my father’s name..."1
"Even if only one day is left to the life of this world, Allah will certainly prolong that day until the coming of a man [Hazrat Mahdi (as)] from the Ahl al-Bayt whose name is compatible with mine."
(narrated in Ahmad Ibn Hanbal’s Musnad)
According to Abdullah Ibn Umar’s (ra) account;
Rasulullah (saas) said: "The world will not come to an end until a man from my Ahl al-Bayt [Hazrat Mahdi (as)] whose name is compatible with mine imposes his rule over all the Arabs."
According to another account, he said:
"Even if only one day remains from the life of this world, Allah will certainly prolong that day until He sends a man from my Ahl al-Bayt [Hazrat Mahdi (as)] whose name is compatible with mine. He will fill the world that was previously filled with cruelty and oppression with truth and justice instead." related by Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, Nasai, Bayhaqi and Abu Amr Ad-Dani.
Again according to Abdullah Ibn Umar (ra) he said:
"The world will not come to an end until a man from my Ahl al-Bayt whose name is compatible with mine establishes dominion (on earth). He will fill the world that was previously filled with cruelty and oppression, with truth and justice instead." - Related in Abu al-Qasim Sulaiman ibn Ahmad ibn At-Tabarani "al- Mu’jam As-Saghir." In addition, Tirmidhi’s "Al-Jami" and Abu Dawud’s "Sunan" by and large repeat this account, with a few minor alterations.
The hadith emphasize that these names will be "compatible with one another." In other words, one must not expect Hazrat Mahdi (as) to be directly called "Ahmad or Muhammad,"nor his father to go by the name of "Abdullah." (Allah knows the truth.)
Ahmad Muhammad Hazrat Mahdi (as) is the name Allah gives to one who will come in the End Times. Rasulullah (saas) has reported that name. In other words, his birth name will not be “Ahmad Muhammad Mahdi.” This is a name given him by Allah. Our Prophet (saas) does not say “his name will be the same as mine” in the hadith; he says “it will be compatible with mine.” In the same way, he says, “His father’s name will be compatible with my father’s name.” There is a sign and a secret in this.
Allah has selected the person He wishes in destiny and has given him the name “Ahmad Muhammad Mahdi.” Some being given or not being given that name cannot change situation in the slightest.
Our Prophet (saas) kept the name of Hazrat Mahdi (as) secret
Jabir quotes from Abu Ja’far: “When Umar asked Hazrat Ali (ra) about Mahdi, he (Umar) said: Ibn Abu Talib (Hazrat Ali), tell me about Mahdi. What is his name?” And Hazrat Ali (ra) said: “My dear, close friend, our Prophet saas) said: “ALLAH HAD ME PROMISE NOT TO REVEAL HIS NAME TO ANYBODY UNTIL HE WOULD APPEAR. HIS [HAZRAT MAHDI (AS)] NAME IS ONE OF THE KNOWLEDGE WHICH ALLAH ENTRUSTED UPON HIS MESSENGER.

This Hadith about crawl on the snow to give allegiance to Mahdi. That’s a very interesting wording. Has prophet Muhammad (pbuh) ever seen snow? I have no idea, I don’t think he did.
He didnt see.the sea, also the dua of janaaza and one dua of beginning of salaah has mention of snow

These are the admissions which Qadri made:
1) The subject of Ahruf and Qira'at is probably the most difficult question for modern Muslim scholars like himself to answer.
2) This question, and others posed by Western scholars caused him to go through a crisis when he was studying for his PhD at Yale University.
3) He was rescued from this crisis by returning to what he had been taught since childhood, that the Qur'an must be the 'Word of Allah' because it is self-evident.
4) It is not the place for the uneducated Muslims to question Qira'at and Ahruf, since this is a question which should be left to the experts, the Ulemma, who have been discussing it for 1,000 years.
5) Yet, even the best Muslim scholar on the subject, Ibn al-Jazari, who spent 30 years studying the Qira'at, and compiled 90 books on this subject, is not accepted by scholars today.
6) Today, "the Western level of knowledge is leaps and bounds above what it used to be just 100 years ago", and this is causing a dilemma within Muslim scholarly circles.
7) The Traditional Understanding of the Ahruf and Qira'at cannot answer the pressing questions being asked by Western Academics today in the West.
8 ) What's more, Qadri admits, "It's very clear that the standard narrative on the subject has holes in it".
9) This issue of Qira'at has troubled the Umma (believers) from the very beginning.
10) "Because of these problems, the issue of Ahruf and Qira'at should only be discussed among those who are familiar with the science", though for the past 1,000 years they have discussed it, without coming to any satisfactory conclusions.
11) Yassir Qadri admitted he had never brought this topic up himself, and that he has never lectured about this issue, though numerous times he said that to understand it, take his course.
12) He went on to say that this question should never be brought up in public, and those Muslims who did were "idiots".
13) When asked by Muhammad Hijab whether he could write on a blank piece of paper a perfect Quran today, and which Qira'at he would use, he tried desperately not to answer the question.
14) In desperation, when pushed by Hijab, he admitted that all of the different Qira'at Qur'ans (Hatun now has 37 in London) would be acceptable, because the Hadith said so, and the Qur'an promised that the Qur'an would be perfectly preserve (see Surah 15:9).
15) In the end Qadri simply fell back on his favourite mantra on the subject, reciting, "The Qur'an is the uncreated speech of Allah, the Qur'an is preserved, the Qur'an is known, the Qur'an is Mutawatir (the succession of narration), all of the Qira'at are the Qur'an, all are authentic, leave it at that. Beyond this requires background information, so take my class"

Did Imam Hussain r.a. desire the khilafa or that he did not want to give baya to a man like yazid? Because of his stance we all know the atrocities committed against him and his family which showed the whole ummah what yazid and his followers were all about and they remained against him and his innovations. I don’t agree with the point made by Ibn Qayyim, sorry to say...
My question is why is Ibn Qayyim being quoted? How can Ibn Qayyim claim to have knowledge of WHY it will be of the progeny of Hassan R.A.?
Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. said the Mahdi will be of his progeny. And there are hadith that says it will be of Hussein R.A. and there are hadith that says it will be of Hassan R.A.. Sheikh YQ does his research but he needs to justify arriving at a conclusion from Allah's messenger or the Qur'an and not anything or anyone else.

The truth is that the same God who created other faiths and the universe is the same God who created Islam.
but the objection of the people of other faiths is that God has multiple personalities for creating various religions lol, truth is that it is due to the various conditions of the stage of mental/spiritual conditions of the observer(humans) over time(evolution) in its environment with it's various properties as well, that there has been various prophets with a core belief in a supreme God to guide those specific people to a positive and peaceful life, in the culmination of Islam being an actual objective world wide flexible guidance.

So, according to Islam, on this earth, there has been around 100 000 various Adam's, with the term "Adam" marking/meaning a person who represents a new era of mental/spiritual progress/evolution for humans. The Adam as we know it, who came about 7000 years ago, came with physical blessing of improved housing,agriculture etc. The most recent Adam, the Promised Messiah, being the return of Christ through Islam, came with physical blessings of improved communications and means of travel and various other sectors including science etc.
In symbolistic terms, the Holy prophet has been term as the Sun that radiates guidance and blessings, we the earth that benefits, and the moon that reflects the blessed light of the sun during the night. The Holy prophet being the most perfect prophet and amalgamation of the previous laws and new laws, this in it's entirety is the sun, and physical effect of this symbolism is that during the days of the previous prophets and Holy prophet, the general population of humans had to work hard physical labour to participate of societal life. As the Promised Messiah represents the moon and his community started about 135 years and we are living in his days now, physical effect of symbolism of the moon is that we sleep or rest, thus life becomes easier for the general population of humans on earth, also a satellite is like a artificial moon🤗 technology, Ai is only going to get better in the future, life becomes even more easier.
The Promised Messiah came about 1400 years after Prophet Muhammad, Nabi Isa came about 1400 years after Nabi Musa, just as implied in Deuteronomy prophecy.
