      Thanks for watching Patricia, yes beautiful park here in Albany, we do love a bit of green grass around us, and this one has plenty, very nice park.

    Great run through. I'm kinda surprised by the other comments, I thought this was pretty reasonable amount of gear for full time travelling!

      Hi Eddie, thanks for the positive feedback, I've certainly seen travelers with much, much more.
      Anyway, hard to know what you need till you do it.
      We left some heavier stuff at home, firepit and our electric bikes as an example, to keep weight down
      Thanks for watching

    Good content thank you. Very neat and organised. I live in my car with my dog, its far from neat or oganised but it is clean. Most important thing for me from your list was the led light. Repairs etc I have to rely on garages and roadside assist. Disability prevents me from doing anything from changing a tyre to a hose. All my food clothing and gear that cant fit in the car is in my little 6x4 covered trailer. Safe travels guys.

    Geat setup.
    Just goes to show everyone's setup is different for everyone's needs.
    I remember sitting at bramwell.
    There was a huge chev pickup with a enormous van hooked up.
    Jilly and i were thinking why the hell have a huge set-up like that..
    The owners appeared...
    They were huge..
    We dont judge setups any more 😂😂

      Hi Paul, thanks for the feedback, the things we havent used in general, i'm happy we haven't used.
      When your sitting at home preparing for a 30000km+ trip, you imagine you might need lots of things.
      Were happy with setup and grateful to be out here doing it this year.
      Thanks for watching

    Some great tips. Also like the 1/2 length awning privacy screen not seen that before

    • @gonecaravanning
      @gonecaravanning  Před 10 měsíci

      Thanks for the feedback, the privacy screen is a poptop end wall, fits 1/2 our awning perfectly, we also have another waterproof one, that doubles for a porch awning or we can have both in on the long side of awning.
      The one on in this video, i put slots under the velcro slots and put one strap through so we can roll up and velcro up if we want to.
      We prefer the half when just wanting a bit of privacy.
      Thanks for watching

    Thanks for the video, some really great ideas there. I have the same car as you and I really like how you have used the space where the 3rd row seats should be. Also, your compressor location is great. Thanks again for the ideas. Travel safe.

    Great video. That's waaaay more gear than we carry, but you have it very well organised.
    Curious to know if you've ever weighed your set up? We have an Vancruiser van (2620kg Tare) and tow it with a 2008 Lexus LX570 (200 series Landcruiser). We ran it over a weighbridge out of curiosity and found even almost unloaded, we were over both the Rear Axle limit of the car and GVW. I was surprised, as I used to do this sort of testing as part of my job but would have thought our set up would be well under. I've since removed ALL the rear seats from the car and moved some heavy gear over the van axles to lower the ball weight.
    The GCM of the Isuzu and many utes is a trap that many get caught out on.

    • @gonecaravanning
      @gonecaravanning  Před 10 měsíci +1

      Hi Des, we weighed the car and van twice before this trip at a local weighbridge just to get an idea of how we were going.
      The Cars GVM is 2750 and it weighed 2320 with Julie and me in. ball weight 240kg, so close.
      Thanks again for watching, appreciate the feedback

    Holy shit that's awful lot of gear to take with you just in case.
    I just finished 7000 + kilometre trip without incident. And I only carry about 20% of what you had. Electric awnings save a a lot of bother.
    Good content guys.
    Cheers 🇭🇲😀👍🍻🍻

    What size motor has your car got would you change anything a bigger car or is the car ok to tow the van . we like your car size what sort of van is it again.

    • @gonecaravanning
      @gonecaravanning  Před 10 měsíci

      Hi Mark, the Isuzu has a 3lt 4cyl engine in it.
      It tows my size van (19ft) very well.
      The reason we chose this car was room in garage at home, reliability and fuel economy, (not to be under estimated with the price of fuel at the moment).
      As for changing it for another vehicle, i would maybe go for dmax with batwing back on it. Lots of room in them. + 3.5t towing as instead of 3t.
      I am very happy with how the MUX as performed though.
      Thanks for watching

    We have watched a few of your videos and find them interesting, however we have noticed that Julie is reluctant to be on camera. If you were more positive in the comments towards her she might be keener to be on camera. Try not to use back handed complements.
