- This video we try 3 different traditional Lithuanian dishes for the first time even though we have been studying here for the last 3 years xd.

No mayonese! It´s buttermilk or kefir, or even yogurt, beetrooth, cucumbers, spring onions, salt. You can put boiled egg. And also you can see it as a salad dish. Mostly eaten in hot days, usually with hot potatoes aside. russian okroshka has mayonese, cola (!), meat, cucumbers, peas and some other crazy stuff - all whats left on table after party :) Cepelinai ou can get with different fillings. I think best is with cottage cheese. Tastes completely different.
There is no Cola in Okroshka. Sparkling water yes

1:45 It is amazing on a hot summer day. It is better than eating ice cream. Also I wouldn't call it a side dish. Egg - the best protein, potato for carbs, some greens (cucumber, green onion, herbs and ofc the beet) and a good amount of dairy product. It is very filling and probably full of wide range nutrients and probiotics. Besides the boiled potato and boiled egg, nothing is cooked. Most of it is with some fermentation.
Cepelinai does not have grease since they are boiled in water and not fried on oil. That texture you're describing as greasy is potato starch. Remember that potato only has 0,1 g fat in 100 grams.
It is greasy. Not the thing itself, but the thing on top. Its melted bacon sauce kind of thing. I prefer the ones filled with soft cheese that is mixed with egg and some herbs. And then melted butter over it.
the dumplings are top 1 in the world according to tasteatlas wont get any better.

when I saw a pink soup I thought it looks like pink 💩(but who drops pink 💩...?, so anyway, I still thought it is pink 💩), but anyway, when I tried it, it was better than I expected.

When you tell something, find out what it is... because there is no oil and it is not greecy
