- Back from another solo camping trip, this time on a beautiful sandy beach along the river. I created a comfortable space for cooking and sleeping all inside the Springbar Leisure Port Shelter and loved how the setup turned out. Hope you enjoy the film and thank you for watching!

The Springbar Leisure shelter is nice. Really nice set up.
Thank you!
I really hope a review of the new springbar leisure port is coming
Thanks for your interest in a review, it's definitely coming!
Phenomenal! Looks like a great day!
Thank you!
StumpTown ColdBrew.... legit!
Oh yeah, gotta stay caffeinated with local coffee!
Looks great. What is the soundtrack?
Thank you, I get all my music from Artist and this particular artist is Louis Island and the tracks were escape this town and run away with me.
hey, i can see youve been using the snowpeak luxury chair in the last two videos... does that mean overall thats actually your favourite? taking price out of the equation...
I do find myself grabbing the luxury low chairs more often now that I have them but I still enjoy both versions. I will say though I like the smaller pack size and aesthetic on the luxury version.
Hello Ryan, in your opinion what is more convenient or have faster set up? The hexa tarp with the compact tent from Springbar or the leisure port for sleeping and having shelter for the day? Trying to reduce my set up time little by little. 😊
Hey, I would go with the Compact and Hexa Tarp setup. I think having both would be more versatile but I also prefer sleeping in an enclosed tent as opposed to a shelter. The leisure port is fast to setup but it is significantly heavier and bulkier than a Hexa tarp.
I really like the Springbar Compact and out of the 3 Springbar tents I own, I think it's my favorite. It's lightweight and small, which not only helps with quicker setup but also quicker drying times and cleanup. And despite the lack of standing height it feels really spacious inside, especially with a cot.
@@rtmadani love it! I appreciate it. Your channel has impacted the quality of my weekends!
Hey, so happy to hear to this!
I mostly like this, but the gadget-itis you have is over the top.
Hey, thanks for watching and the feedback! This channel is dedicated to reviewing products in addition to the solo trips, so I am featuring new stuff frequently, but I totally understand!
I am debating the Leisure Port. I have a few Springbar tents for various trips. Most of my trips are 2-4 nites.. mostly 2 nites, and I'm not sure if it's worth it for such short trips. As a tent, it's pretty cool looking your setup is like a mini suite.
It's a pretty cool shelter and with only 6 stakes it's very quick. Definitely another large item to bring along though. For this trip, I was planning on sleeping in my Springbar Compact but decided to just sleep in the Leisure Port instead and was really happy with the setup. Thank you for watching!
Contemplating a powered cooler. Would you recommend the Oyster cooler instead? I noticed you've been using the Oyster more than your Dometic cooler and Yeti coolers? Thank you!
I’d say it all depends on how long you’re at camp and also how much you plan to bring food & drink wise. Without a doubt, for overnight trips the Oyster is very convenient for how small and lightweight it is. Yeti is great as well and while it’s more durable, it’s much heavier/bulkier. The Dometic has been great and our CFX 25 can last a 2 night trip on the Dometic battery. Since I’ve been doing more overnight camping the oyster has been the most convenient.
Very cool. Nice set up. I guess it's a place where you can randomly set up a sit. What sort of cot do you use.
Hey, thanks! The owner let me setup pretty much anywhere, but they do have dedicated campsites. Definitely a unique area to camp with lots of privacy and surrounding nature! For the cot, I’m using the snow peak high tension cot. I absolutely love how it feels and have never seen a cot designed so well. Thanks for watching!
@@rtmadanidid you use Hipcamp for the site?
The Springbar Leisure shelter is nice. Really nice set up.
Hey, thanks! I’m really enjoying the leisure port so far!
