Thanks for another great video. Still enjoying your channel very much. I’ve heard you mention your Clean Charger more than once. I would like to learn more about what that means and maybe what brand/model you use. Hope this isn’t asking too much. Thanks for all your time and work on these videos, and the educational info you give us.
A clean battery charger is designed for flash programming and is adjustable for its voltage output from 12.6 to 15.5 volts. Some manufacturers are fussy about the voltage level during a programming event. Too high a voltage setting can set codes in multiple controllers as well as a conventional battery charger may allow too much AC ripple, which can corrupt a programming event. I'm in the house now and can't remember the make and model. I bought this about 6 years ago for nearly $1000.00. If I were to replace it, I'd probable go with the Autel unit that South Main Auto uses as it's very similar, and I'm sure it's cheaper. I've had some issues with mine as well. Mind you likely caused by falling on the floor from the fender several times. I'll see if I can find a link to it and post it shortly.
You Thinktool, is it the pro or the proS? I have the pro, I think yours is the Pros which has topology. I hate how they add one little feature to the next model & I ordered the pro which does not have the topology. (Not the worst thing I guess, just wanted that extra feature!

Yes the Pro S. Don't feel bad. I paid nearly 2k to update my Autel a year ago thinking I would get the topology map but I didn't.
@@PhillipBailey I think I paid $1000 CAD for the pro a few years back. Yes, the updates are expensive!
disconnect plugs rotate 360 and replug into head unit . or its the head unit pin fitment
Going to try that next if this doesn't work. Thanks for the tip
