But if your definition of God is the life force energy that is in and around everything (Eph 4:6) disregarding all the other definitions, then you would have to be brain dead not to believe in God.

We believe in a creator, just not the one from the Old Testament.

@@Gowiththewind53 Well the new testament was written by Josephus for the romans, and the Romans started Christianity see (Caesar's messiah you tube) So the whole bible is a made up story with a little bit of truth. I know the true God is All and in All the rest is just the play of life.😎

@@TrevorRobins If Rome invented Jesus, for the purpose the author Atwill claims, you'd think they would have done a better job; for instance, a) they should have made the Jesus character fit the supposed prophecies much better, instead of being blatantly off-base, b) they should have made Jesus more sympathetic to Rome, c) left out Jewish objections to Jesus' claims and d) the unrest he caused in the gospel narrative; if they wanted to promote a peaceful Jewish archetype that would actually be swallowed by Jews. Further, this theory fails to explain the historical evidence of Christians prior to 70ad who had a markedly different idea of Jesus, and Atwill never even begins to address that.

@@Gowiththewind53 Firstly it is "my opinion only" that Yeshua was at the least a historical prophet who was prior to 70 AD and Jesus was a made up character who never spoke against the romans like he spoke against the Jewish Pharisees eg give to Caesar what is Caesar's. promoting the roman tax system and turn the other cheek instead of an eye for an eye etc. But he slammed the Pharisees by turning over their tables and calling them thieves etc.. 😎

@@TrevorRobins I don’t disagree -obviously much was embellished by the authors of the gospels.
