- Can you shoot a cinematic movie entirely with a drone? Not just epic aerial shots, but also close-ups of the actors and ground scenes. I took the Autel EVO Nano+ for a spin and made this short film to test its footage color grading rendering.

The unit Autel Robotics sent me had no ND filters, motion blur effect has been added in post production.
Great video. Thanks for taking the time to show what this flyer can do.
Bravo! Bravo! Beautiful work.
Bellissimo! Bravo. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Amazing job on this man 👌👌
Amazing footage. New subscriber. Thanks.
Ciao Oliver, come sempre un bel video. Sei sempre di ispirazione!
Buona estate e un abbraccio 😊
Grazie Erik, un abbraccio e speriamo di incontrarci a Bali! :)
Pretty cool 🙌🏻
안녕하세요 . ^^
The wonderful scenery is impressive.
Good job
Great job my friend👍👏🙏thanks for uploading this video. I want to try different Luts for the Nano+ soon. Autel has a few for free to download and Filtergrades sells Luts for the Autel Evo Nano etc. Do you have some Luts to download or other suggestions? The Autel Nano+ has a awesome camera. Greetings from a new subscriber from 🇳🇱
Just bought one, still waiting the delivery. I need it just for architectural and real estate pics, I hope to be satisfied.
Anyway thank you for your video. Great as usual. 👍
If you are a DaVinci Resolve user, you can download my free Power Grades made for the Autel Nano+, they will surely be useful.
What colorspace does the evo nano+ record hdr video in? For evo 2 pro it is h265 10bit but still bt709. is it still bt709 in the nano+?
It’s Rec 709 on the Nano+ as well.
Cool shots! Here is a tip! NEVER film anything in 24fps, 25fps and 50fps for CZcams and many other platforms unless your content is going to end-up on your country on TV, the CZcams default playback is on NTSC (American power line frequency). and if you try to watch this content in the USA or mobile phones the playback will be super horrible, it will look like skipping frames all over the place. How about 24fps? If you do things for film, yes, for everything else NEVER in 24fps. Today's displays and monitors are based on high HERTZ meaning that if you create or film anything in 24fps the content will be missing frames, so a pull-down of 3:2 for 30fps or 6:4 pull down, meaning that each frames will be cloned 6 times and the next frame on the video 4 times, and that will cause the same problem that the 25fps cause when playback on 60hertz and higher. Look at you phone, what is the hertz? And there will be a great change that even if you are in Pal systems your phone will be on NTSC format. Pal system is a dying format because everything is going streaming. And soon the entire world will be streaming in 60hertz and 120hertz and so on.
Thanks for the feedback. Most devices nowadays, especially cell phones and computers, are framerate independent, if you watch a video on a smartphone in Europe the rendering will be the same in North America. That annoying effect is due to the lack of ND filters (Autel Robotics didn't provide me with a set) you will notice it especially on pan movements, there is a motion blur effect added in post, this slightly helps but does not solve the issue.
@@OliverAstrologo That is not true, I write codec and create software to high end platforms and sometimes to mobile devices. The video still play like crap even on mobile/devices. You may be getting confused with Hertz like what I wrote on my last comment. All platforms uses a player/decoder container that translate/decode the frame rate into the local playing devices. The Hertz, like what I was talking about is the drawing pixels that the GPU of the device will do, each device has different GPU. The deliver platforms like youtube and everything else sends the video data to that device with the new codec similar to H265. If the frame rate from youtube does not match the hertz, each frame will duplicate/clone to match the default device playback speed. Whatever you are getting this crazy info from, please stop. Learn more about video technology and stream and download protocols. I am always going live stream teach everything from filming professionally, editing, 2d/3d animation, cell animations, high end programming for video technology and more.
Note this! I notice the horrible playback on my phone. That rest the case. Anyway, soon I will show how to turn Nano+ footage the same as the Mavic 3 Cine or Mini 3 but better. Come to my live streams sometimes! I am always doing some cool stuff live! Professionals do it live!
Note: Learn about ND filters from me, too many BS in CZcams. I even created a free ND filter guide in what ND filter needs to use based on frame rate. And a gray card to avoid color correction problems in post. ND filter only job is to reduce light entering the lens, because of that, you can set the Shutter Speed to double the frame rate to produce the motion blur humans see. Many many devices with True-Motion like 4k televisions can detect if the video does not have the proper shutter speed and it will create high frames to the video does not look like yours because it is 25fps. But even that, not all devices can create the missing frames to provide a better playback experience. Too many miss information in youtube. I work in Hollywood, advanced video technology companies, I designed my own AI that runs on my video walls and digital signages, I have many television awards and technology awards based in video technology. I think I am know extremely well what video technologies are and what is coming next.
Bali!?
Si Davide! :)
@@OliverAstrologo pazzesco e complimenti per il filmato!
Still too darn sharp. They are cranking the sharpness on this drone to the point where you can't even fix it in post. There is a heavy halo around all high contrast edges and that halo does not go away with softening or motion blur. That is a shame. I bought one and am not pleased that they would cripple this drone with such terrible processing. I do own the EVO II Pro and it's fantastic. But this thing... nah
