I don't know how you managed to live without dying and someone outnumber both Tom and Alice Also if I die, do i have to restart the entire chapter again, or is the spawn point before you fight Sammy good to use?
Select chapter doesn't save checkpoints so you'll have to restart the chapter. Easier to play through the whole game again imo for saves especially if you need to complete achievements from previous chapters anyway.
maybe this trophy requires 50.if you failure to kill 50 enemies,retry from a checkpoint. or you should save and copy your save data to USB storage before try it. this challenge make us so nervous.
It popped for me through chapter select, in an empty save file though. Had to play 6-7 times all the annoying part with the boat, but it worked eventually. I didnt die, i dont know how many kills i got, but it was a good run for sure. In my previous runs i had a couple of good ones, too, no trophy, so dont get dissapointed.

yes only kill 50 over enemies by yourself. Allison and Tom killed enemies doesn't counting. another thinking,Allison and Tom get in the way players get a trophy(^^) If they weren't there,player must be kill 50 enemes very simply(^^)
Has anyone confirmed that you can actually get this while on a full game play through? I've read it's glitched and you can only get it via chapter select (and sitting through all that dialog every time you try it). I've done this about 20 times now and can't get it. This trophy is maddening.
I enjoy talking to myself, so here goes: After trying this many, many, many times (and counting 60+ kills multiple times) I uninstalled the game and got it on my first try. And on that try I counted 49 kills so I'm not even sure the rumored 50 is accurate. Though obviously I could have miscounted. So if you're struggling with this like I did, maybe uninstall the game and try again. And it was on a full play through save file.
@@pdavis4461 I got mine trophy by playing the full game and i went to the chapter 5, when i was dying i was quitting and then trying again. So it's not glitched on the ps4. I don't know about the other systems.

change means number of kiling an enemies? numbe of killing an enemies does not shows on your screen. you have to count a number by yourself,when kill 50 enemies,trophy will be pop.
maybe you didn't kill 50 enemies.there isn't a hitting counter on your screen,so you have to count killing an enemies by yourself.trophy will be pop when you killed 50 enemies.
uh maybe not.you may got a trophy when you died and restart from a checkpoint. but maybe story must be progress when you killed all ink monsters, so you must be copy your save to storage or usb storage when you reach this checkpoint.
if youre one hit from death, dont go fighting them, instead run from them, and once youre healed, fight them again, rinse and repeat

there is a checkpoint when you landing off the boat. you have to start from the beginning of fighting.
