I know this isn't official, but having Shadow witness Maria's death again in this setting made me cry. Compared to how the games handled it, this is one of the best ways how her death was handled as well as Shadow's reaction to it. I just wanna hug him and tell him everything is okay 😭

The scene of Maria sacrificing herself for Shadow and his scream after witnessing her death made me cry so much.
I've seen the other versions of Maria's death but no one made me cry like this one.
I think we can all agree that with this, these people are setting a new bar of quality for fanmade films
Yh but there is trouble I cannot download it anywhere higher quality I can but it would not allow me to have voice then it sad and when I download that higher quality like 1080p aspect ratio you know it get to 8something quality 😢sad but yes people will probably use this as fan made videos to make amvs for their subscribers or MEP parts etc I probably will but not sure I obviously would give credits anyway
same for those who made multiple scp fanmade movies, check them out they're great! I love ppl like these however, they put their passion 100% into the projects
This short film was amazing, shadow's animations was beautiful. Loved how the Inhibitor rings played a purpose in the story, how they were supposed to be the key to deciphering his genetic code and control his powers, yet they were a deciding factor that prevented him from saving Maria because they were desperately trying to fulfill their purpose and prevent his Chaos Powers from overwhelming his body. Really loved the plot point that Shadow's powers and DNA were in constant flux preventing Gerald Robotnik from decrypting his genetic code in order to save his granddaughter, a reasonable explanation for why Shadow was never able to heal Maria in the proper canon despite being on the Space Colony Ark with her for years. Also loved the remarkably grey area of the G.U.N., wanting to use Shadow as a weapon to protect their home country without any casualties, but how they were obsessed with a powerful weapon that is Shadow and how they betrayed Gerald robotnik out of greed wasn't really helping their case in Shadow's understandable hatred towards them.
This short film was brilliant, almost collaborating with the lore of the movies to the point it is my personal headcanon for the movie franchise until the third Sonic movie comes out.

I always thought that in order to actually cure Maria, Shadow needed the chaos emeralds to become Super Shadow and use the healing abilities displayed by Super Sonic in Sonic X and the second movie. that's my headcanon for how Shadow would be a cure for NIDS. after all, it was said more than once that whenever all seven Chaos Emeralds are gathered, they create a miracle.

This is single handedly one of the best fanmade sonic productions ever. The showcasing of how shadow got both his rocket shoes and inhibitor rings coupled with the amount of references not only in shadow’s fight scenes but with the unused music from the 2005 game make this again, one of, if not the best fanmade sonic productions out there. You really did do shadow’s backstory justice with this, I doubt the 3rd sonic movie will even come close to doing shadow as well as he was done here, bravo man, bravo.

This was an amazingly high-quality production!!!!!!! The Shadow animation was so incredible- you could feel the pain, rear, and sadness, and the references to the STH 2005 intro cinematic during the fight scene were so cool! The use of "Broken" also fits really well, glad to see it getting some love. Amazing job!

Eu tenho uma longa história com Sonic desde de 2013 quando eu tinha 8 anos (É faz 10 anos que eu sou fã apaixonada desse ouriço azul eu to veia😅) Sonic é muito especial pra mim e me ajudou em tantos momentos e ver um projeto com tanto amor, tanto carinho e tão maravilhoso como esse sendo real ainda mais tendo um cara tão talentoso como o João que eu acompanho desde do vídeo dele fazendo o Sonic do filme virando o Super Sonic antes quando a gente nao tinha ideia de quando o segundo filme ia sair, me deixa tão feliz, é tão emocionante, sabe? Ainda sobre o Shadow que é dos meus personagens favoritos(ele deve ta no meu top 5 pelo menos kkk) retrantando a história dele de forma tão majestosa com atuações maravilhosas e a voz do Shadow sendo impecável (Sério o Bruno tá de parabéns, eu já quero ele sendo a voz do Shadow no filme, se o Reginaldo Primo não conseguir fazer o personagem nos filmes, claro, se o Bruno tiver a oportunidade. Pra mim os 2 são as vozes em português definitivas do Shadow kkk Sério 😢) Ces não sabem o quanto a minha pessoa tá feliz, eu terminei com lágrimas nos olhos(até uma caiu😢😅) e toda arrepiada principal com a cena final antes dos créditos (o pós crédito também é maravilhoso, TUDO É MARAVILHOSO KKK). Então, dito isso eu quero muito que esse curta chegue na Paramont ou no Jeff Fowler ou em qualquer um envolvido nos filmes ou até mesmo na própria SEGA. Wow! That was incredible! Everything I could have hoped for. The literal only thing I think it suffers from (a bit) is the length as i don’t know that if you aren’t a fan you’ll be able to attach to the world and characters and really feel it like the fans do, but I mean… we are getting into some real critiquing there, and it was kinda made by fans for fans so... It really touched on so much in the very limited time! The voice acting was perfection! The animation was untouchable! There was only a few times that I caught that it was fan made. Music was great! Story was outstanding, and the integration of the movie universe was perfection! And it showed so many aspects of Shadow’s poor little soul! It was perfection, and I will be following the release of a sequel 🤞🙏! Thank you to everyone involved for giving us this masterful telling of Project Shadow’s story! It was incredible!! Now to watch it over and over until the English release

This was amazing,I’m a die hard Shadow fan and this was so true to his character, reminded me of why I love him so much q.q Paramount has some huge shoes to fill, this was incredible! Everything was perfect and thank you so much for including the original lost tracks for Shadow the Hedgehog, I was losing it jsjdkdkfkf also everybody’s acting was awesome, and the Shadow CGI model is gorgeous and lively. Also rlly cool to see a fellow christian that’s also a Sonic fan, keep up the amazing work, you all killed it! ❤
