If that is the Marine tarp which has a brown side , use brown flexseal to spray over the holes. It is very close in color and easy to use

I just retired after 21 years in the Army and the only pack I was issued that I liked was the Multicam Medium Ruck and I hated ACUS, the woodland jacket is British Dpm. But surplus stuff works and it’s usually pretty tough.
