I think 1 and a half ounce in 50-60m but if the current is moving you can go 2 and still have trouble hitting the bottom. I would only use plastics on a slow day when not much current and fish hard to get to bite. That’s my theory.

I assume it gives you a better chance of hooking up if hooks face a different direction and less chance of tangle

Found it a bit hard to be a member of a gym while living and travelling in a car. Use to love the gym back in the day of racing kayaks and surf skis. Haven’t been for a very long time
@@timmyturtlefish3321 you should see if you can borrow one and the biggest wing blade you can get your hands on, then get paddling again.... that'll soon bulk you up..lol
Just causes shoulder injuries. Technique with a smaller blade was always the way to go haha
