Have you received yours yet? I’m being fitted on the 19th of April! I have muscle weakness because of muscular dystrophy, & need help to remain mobile. I’m just wondering if they’re everything I hope they are!!

@@heathergreen4184 I'm through the community trial as of December 20th, 2023 now waiting to receive it after they fit my own knee joint then i own it. Good luck, let me know hope it goes for you, everyone's different but for me its everything i hoped it was. It takes hard work and determination but for my left paralysed leg its awesome. I have more training to do once i get it back but this time i keep it for good. I love it. I'm t10 incomplete.
I'm trialling the C Brace now in Australia. It's damn hard work and takes some getting use to but hanging in there!

@@ottobock thankyou so much Ottobock! I'm in great hands already with a local Ottobock technician. Any future plans for users to active C Brace modes via a watch instead of an app on a mobile phone? Not all users have their hands free like myself who need crutches still. It was also a comment made by an Ottobock technician too. Just a thought.

@@judybreen4530 sure! My trial was a failure bc I couldn't get the control stance unit (CSU) to unlock on my own. I had to have the technician 'tap' the brace for the CSU to unlock every swing through stage which is not practical obviously! It was the same for 3 consecutive weeks so we stopped my trial and I handed it all back. Even my tech couldn't figure out why I couldn't unlock it bc in theory, I should! To me, there's no way to adjust the hydraulics inside the CSU which you should be able to, to suit the user's paralysis. I'm literally a millimetre out in terms of the correct angle to unlock the Cbrace myself and walk freely. Crazy! Also, Ottobock will not allow techs into the 'backend' of the software system of the CSU to change angles. Other than that, I could walk using it, no doubt about that, but without Ottobock in Germany coming to the party to make a CSU that can be adjusted by millimetres, it's a confined product. I know of other users in the US who are having the same problems too so all eyes on mine/Ottobock as too whether Ottobock will review my trial and make changes to the internal CSU hydraulics. Who knows🤷♀️I'm still waiting on my techs to advise. It's been 4 weeks now...I'd be cautious getting any hopes up using the Cbrace if your thinking of buying it. Also, the criteria is not clear as too whether or not the Cbrace shouod be trialled by a paralysed lesson and it's bloody expensive to trial it. Pls research it to the hilt with a Physiotherapist prior to trialling it. I did with my physio and it's still unclear whether my paralysis really is too much for the Cbrace bc the criteria is unclear.

Does anyone know if this works with hip flexor weakness and foot drop? I walk very similar to what's shown in the video but it's due to hip flexor weakness not quads.
yes, it can, I have hip flexor 2/5 at its worst and a foot drop on left and mine is being manufactured now:)

Mine was the same. If you cannot achieve full extension, then the C-Brace will not work for you. I cannot do the same with my left hip so no good. I trialled the C-Brace for 9 weeks solid in late 2021 but it needs full extension. Sorry🇦🇺
