You are maybe to close to the ‘project’ but I’d just like to remind you what a lovely boat she’ll be when on the water. I really like the design. Modern paints longevity is always compromised by a poor underlay but I’d be surprised if that paint didn’t outlast the boat with the top job you have done beforehand 🙃 When glassing the ply have you ever had problems with tension putting a curve in the panel before you have had a chance to do the other side?
Thanks for the kind words of encouragement. I hope she'll be at least a 10' boat. If I can achieve that I'll be happy. I've never had a laminate warp as the epoxy cured. I have had butt joints fail when they were tortured over the forms. But other than that things have gone well. I think using true marine grade plywood helps with that. It's much more dimensionally stable than something like ACX. Cheers mate! Rick
